We arrived late due to plane delays and when we arrived our family room was made up for the king bed but not the child’s bed. When we opened the bed from the lounge it was also not suitable to sleep on. The issue was resolved by the manager who arranged a portable bed for our son for the duration of the stay. The location was great. Family rooms were big. The beach is across the road and the hotel has chairs and umbrellas for you to use at the beach. The bar tenders make a fabulous caprihina- which is a must try! It is lovely sitting at the pool bar overlooking Copacabana beach whilst having a drink. We did eat at the hotel and the food was lovely but it did take a long time to arrive once ordered. (Not necessarily an issue for us but good to know if you wanted a quick bite).

We were greeted by very rude staff, then they communicated us that our room was not ready on check in time and gave us two drink vouchers to “make up for it”. Restaurant prices were outrageous. The room is comfortable if you get ocean view, otherwise you can’t open your windows and location is the only reason why I’d recommend this hotel.
