Wanted to leave a dedicated review for my massage therapist Larissa. I literally came back the next day for 90 mins sport massage. Made my stay so special. It’s also so nice to have the view of the sugarloaf mountain everyday, and this hotel is prob the only place that serves a real medium rare filet mignon

Room description said '1950s inspired' i did not get that 1950s vibe. I thought the room was plain, boring. Nothing that one would get excited about and for what one gets overpriced. On the 9th floor.. was woken up 6h30 by blaring music from the secondary pool area. 6h30!! and looking down...nobody was occupying the pool. The main pool area up front has a nice view..a lot smaller and more crowded than the hotel images would suggest. Chairs are in high demand and claimed quickly. Many guests occupying 2 chairs..1 set in the shade and 1 set in the sun...staff did not intervene. Also hotel has a private area at the beach with umbrellas & chairs which was a nice touch. The drink i had at the bar was 90% ice cubes. Food had a good quality and the prices were fair. Gym was clean, well equipped and spacious. I liked the location..right by Copacabana and next to Ipanema.
