I would like to share my feedback based on my recent stay at Ibis Styles Serpong BSD City, In terms of comfort at the restaurant area, I found a lack of sensitivity towards guest needs. During a high occupancy period, the restaurant should be fully prioritized for guests who wish to dine. However, I noticed that management was using restaurant tables for internal activities such as meetings, interviews, and lunch, while many guests were struggling to find seating. This gave the impression that guest comfort was not being prioritized. I also experienced an allergic reaction after consuming fish from the buffet, despite having no prior history of seafood allergies. Additionally, one of my companions experienced digestive issues after consuming the same food. The response from the hotel, in my opinion, was not sufficiently attentive. While I did receive some fruit from the staff, there was no clear explanation, follow-up, or expression of concern regarding my condition. In situations like this, it would be more appropriate to provide a more personal and empathetic response—for example, direct communication from management or at least a simple note expressing concern and wishing the guest a speedy recovery. Furthermore, I believe it is important for the hotel to review and ensure proper food hygiene and safety standards to prevent similar incidents in the future. I would strongly encourage the hotel to improve its response by being more empathetic, responsive, and informative, so that guests feel cared for and safe during their stay. Thank you.

The room was clean and quite spacious, and the amenities were sufficient—definitely worth the price. Although the hotel couldn’t accommodate some of my room requests, the city view from the high floor turned out to be a great choice. The pool is nice, but it was quite crowded due to the holiday season. The location is very convenient, situated in a calm neighborhood and close to a mall. The complimentary bike service is also a great addition. The welcome drink for members was a nice touch. However, the breakfast could be improved. Due to the hotel’s full occupancy, it was moved to the ballroom, which felt less comfortable.
