Friendly staff, but the AC is permanently broken

The AC runs only for 30 to 90 minutes, then it turns itself off. According to the staff that is intended behavior because of energy savings. During my stay it was hot during the night, so I woke up regularly because the AC turned off and I had to turn it on again. After three nights with interrupted sleep I felt exhausted. The staff told me that the same happens while it’s cold and the AC is used for heating. Frankly I was very surprised about that, but I value the honesty of the staff. I won‘t stay there again because of that.

Good location, modern facilities. Pleasant and welcoming reception crew. Room size adequate given there is also a small kitchenette area for simple meals. Our issue was the ac! It wasn’t possible to set it to a stable temperature. It would only set for an hour then set itself to a high temperature which meant the room was hot , and uncomfortable overnight. Parking in the secure basement was good.

We stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Access Freiburg. It was perfect for our stay, lovely room with a kitchenette option perfect for a longer stay. Adagio Access is perfectly located to reach - old town, Freiburg hbf can be quickly reached by tram 2 or 4, grocery stores near by. If you have a bike, they offer a spot in parking. Staff very helpful.

Breakfast very busy at weekends. Room a bit cramped and I kept banging my head on lampshade at end of bed! Otherwise, a great stay.
