Beautiful building. Expansive & clean reception area. Rooms reasonable except my room should have been superior or equivalent but it wasn’t. Most staff friendly & helpful although some staff at reception unhelpful & even rude. My check out day had a power failure. In itself was unfortunate. Under such circumstances, the hotel can only be judged how they handle it. Some staff either not trained or simply lazy. The average good staff were let down by these lazy ones at reception. We were on 6th floor & nobody offered to help bring luggage downstairs. My car was in the hotel underground car park. This car park is a good & clean facility but again let down by stupid unhelpful reception staff. The engineers couldn’t have been more helpful if they tried although once again let down by lazy u helpful reception staff. A couple of reception staff were good & tried except not supported sufficiently. Housekeeping staff were great. Resturant staff just one with a smiling attitude. A potentially good hotel but Regretably the many critical reviews were so true. Let down by inadequate training. One lady at reception was grumpy & also rude to my friend during my check in. I have no idea why. Such a pity for the standard of hotel.

Hotel went out of power and was unable to provide the breakfast we paid for. There was no lights at all so unable to shower or use the toilet safely. WiFi was down so unable to take any work calls or charge any devices before going back on the road. Staff at reception unwilling to help and was refused a refund when they have clearly breached the contract for service.

One of your people at the desk was very rude. I did not pick him name but he wasn't polite neither to my wife or to me. He wares glasses , he is bold and really arrogant.

Check-in highly unsatisfactory, spa was good, Oktoberfest hut very loud but excellent value, great location although quite noisy at times
