i booked the hotel because of the pool and sauna combined with the good location in the city. when i arrived the pool and sauna have been under maintenance/cleaning/reconstruction and could not been used during our stay. Novotel has not informed us before!!! no excuse or price reduction on arrival. rooms are not up to date and breakfast price to high

Hi Team . We are extremely disappointed . We are staying in Freiburg Novotel Konzerthaus a. while checking in they told no amenities are available like swimming , spa or even gym . We came with our 7 year old child to spend two days here. The reception Guys told this was mentioned on the websit but honestly it was not when we booked . In fact when we rescheduled the ticket we again asked for how warm the water is in the swimming pool a. no one ever mentioned it’s not operational . This is utterly disappointing that just for more footfalls the hotel is charging for amenities a. not even letting you do it . Very disappointing first experience ..
