Dear Mrs h., We are sincerely sorry to hear about your experience, and especially to learn that your husband fell in the shower and had to visit the emergency room. We truly hope that he has since made a full recovery. We are also very sorry that the cleanliness issues in your room did not meet our standards. Our room had dirty carpet and the shower had long hair on the wall. The most problem we had is the slippery shower floor. My husband fell that we had to go to the emergency room to get him checked out. They did provide a mat for the shower the next day but did not seem to appreciate that we pointed out the potential danger for other guests.

Very enjoyable overnight stay in Colmar. Hotel was easy to find and pre-booked parking close by. Staff were very kind and helpful and the room was clean and well-equipped. A few minutes walk to the lovely old town with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is located near city center. A very good breakfeast. The staff are friendly and service minded. The room are good with space. There is free water to go. The downside is, there is not many power outlets int the room for charing your devices.

The hotel is well situated. When we checked in the gentlemen at reception was helpful and explained the garage situation and assisted us the following morning.He also helped us with explaining street parking. The breakfast was a great value and we enjoyed every morning. The employees were exemplar, Caroline they made our visit so enjoyable. Jamala were helpful and so welcoming.

Nice hotel, very good breakfast and great staff. The air conditioning was average and it took a while to cool the room. The tiles on the shower floor are very slippery. They should be non-slip or treated. I had to be very careful.

We switched to this hotel from a competitor on the back of the good reviews and were not disappointed. It is perfectly located close to the old town (Vieux Colmar) but at the same time, easy to access from the autoroute. It is clean and modern and the family rooms are large and comfortable, perfect for a family of four. Only minor issue was having to wait in the morning for a bit because the breakfast room was full, not sure what the solution is for this, booking slots?

Dirty carpet with pet stain Horrible bed and pillows

I'm sorry to read that the carpet stain was still visible during your stay. As explained at the time, this is a stain that does not come out despite cleaning, and while the carpet itself is clean, I fully understand that its appearance can give the opposite impression, and that this affected your perception of the room's cleanliness overall. This is something we need to address more permanently, and I'm flagging it for review so the carpet can be replaced rather than relied upon to look presentable after cleaning. I'm also sorry the bed and pillows didn't meet your expectations for comfort. This is valuable feedback, and I'm passing it on to review the bedding in this room.
