CYKL TripAdvisor review

The room is relatively small but the location is 100% excellent. It is right by the edge of the old town, perfect if you are driving. The hotel doesn’t have parking, but it shares the same building as a small shopping mall (Karlsbau) where you can park for Euro 22 per night. I have attached the parking rates, correct as of Dec 2025. The hotel is right by the Schlossbergbahn station. A supermarket (Edeka) is in the next block.

Surprising hotel, 3 star with almost everything at the right place. From the breakfast with very good coffee for the sort of hotel chains, to parking, location (very close to old town), 24 hour service .

If you arrive with a car, this is the hotel to be at. The parking is secured and the location is perfect. The room is not very big but I am sure you can get a bigger room if you pay more. All the staff I have interacted with are very polite.

Good stay, well located, room on the small side. Especially on a Sunday, it might be nice to have a degree of flexibility on the breakfast buffet... having someone inform you that the buffet will close in 10 minutes, while helpful, spoils the mood
