Surprisingly quiet, comfortable beds. Decor pretty tired and in need of an update. Hallway rugs especially dirty/stained looking. Very small & slow elevators; too few for size of hotel.

Pleasant stay Welcoming and helpful staff Shower water temperature flactuated rapidly

The room wasn’t good compared to the value paid. There was doubts regarding the hygiene.

CYKL TripAdvisor review

The room is relatively small but the location is 100% excellent. It is right by the edge of the old town, perfect if you are driving. The hotel doesn’t have parking, but it shares the same building as a small shopping mall (Karlsbau) where you can park for Euro 22 per night. I have attached the parking rates, correct as of Dec 2025. The hotel is right by the Schlossbergbahn station. A supermarket (Edeka) is in the next block.
