Ibis budget Paris Clichy Mairie 2 stars

I was welcomed by the helpful staff and my room was great. It was cleaned everyday to an excellent standard. The hotel is so near a Metro stop so is a brilliant location and near shops etc. Good value too.

The location of the hotel suited us very well. The rooms are a bit small and the towel size and number miserly. Breakfast was very good. We were a bit put off by the two rats seen further down the street after midnight.

The location was brilliant for metro, shops and local flavour to Paris' hustle and bustle. The hotel was as expected from previous reviews. Very modern, clean and compact rooms, but ideal as a sightseeing base. Yes the towels were a bit thin but absorbent. Our room was made up and rubbish emptied daily. There is a bakery and a couple of supermarkets on alighting the metro station around the corner from the hotel. We didn't try breakfast as we like cereals and decaffeinated drinks. A few eateries close by which saved us from the expense of central Paris prices. A special thanks to Fatu who assisted us with some transport difficulties. Just be aware that the metro line 13 into Paris central and back can be very busy especially at peak times. Felt quite safe in this area although didn't travel after dark on metro.

Good report price/quality. The room is small ( we had family room - one double bad and one couch for 2 kids) but comfortable - anyway "in Paris, who stays in the room!?". The breakfast is quite good, the personnel is willing to help. Bathroom nice, new an clean. Parking underground (small) is helpful. 2-3 supermarkets at 100m. Metro station 100m. Small terrace outside, in the back.

I really liked this hotel. LOCATION: 2 min walking from Mairie de Clichy station, metro line 13. ROOM: clean, practical and new. BATHROOM: clean and good size. Beautiful decoration all over the hotel. Supermarket and restaurant nearby. I will certainly recommend and stay at this hotel again.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel to spend one day walking around Paris, another at Versaille and another at Fontainebleau. So it was a sightseeing tour, reliant on using the metro and RER. All we wanted was a base with a breakfast and a good nights rest and sleep. The hotel is full most days and it appears to me used by a mix of French residents so it has to be good value. Positives The hotel is new and well located for central Paris and Versaille, getting to Fontainebleau is more difficult but easily done. The room is large enough for two and the bed was very comfortable. The shower room again was clean and functional. The room was quiet without any noise. Our room was next to a lift and a street below. There was no noise from other guests. Continental breakfast had a good range to suit all needs. The pictures on the web site provide a true reflection of what is on offer. The room and shower room are cleaned daily. The location was safe in a suburb with two small parks close by. There are a range of restaurants and shops nearby. The metro is also very close as is the Clichy RER service to Versaille (rive droite). We were able to store our luggage at the hotel before checkin. Negatives I did not find the recption staff that welcoming or helpful. There were only two towels for the two of us. One day the dirty towels were removed but not replaced, requiring an explanation at reception. There are no facilities to make a hot drink in your room. Also as stated we had 3 soft pillows between us. You have to always remember this is a budget hotel so it goes with the reasonable price. The lift only works with the room card key, so that can be a little distracting. The room did have a slight odour so leave the window open during the day.

We enjoyed are stay at the hotel. The neighborhood was very quiet with walking distance from the train station. The room was very clean and new. Highly recommended for couples or individuals on a short stay in Paris.

This accommodation was extremely clean, extremely comfortable and very close to the Metro, and 15-20 minutes from Paris. Heads up have the breakfast there, as not much open, and the 7€ is value for money given Paris prices for food, and the coffee is drinkable. The lounge area is comfortable, which is good as the room (twin share) is just that. Twin beds and bathroom. Which is okay as you spend all day out and about. The wifi is great too. Overall perfect for what it is, close to Paris, Metro and we always felt safe.

Good, efecient hotel. Excelent price/benefit.Near metro, not long till city center. Very calm area, Rooms small but enought to needs. Bigger than the old cheap hotels. Breakfast with essential. If improves on room cleaness, will be a 5* classification
