Last minute booking because of WW2 unexploded bomb delayed out departure from Paris. Warm welcome by staff, good clean room and comfortable stay. Proximity to Peripherique noisy if window open, but excellent double glazing. Warm was quite hot and unable to adjust aircon. Otherwise very comfortable stay

Belle 1. Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

We were greeted with a warm and helpful arrival after a long journey. The room was small but had all that was needed , a comfortable bed, good shower and in spite of the traffic outside the room was extremely quiet. The traffic outside provided us with great entertainment. From the window one could see the Sacre Coeur and also the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast was excellent with choice of hot and cold dishes and several different breads.

I was given a very pleasant room with a huge and comfortable bed with a huge TV screen, overlooking a small garden patio so I spent a very quiet and comfortable night in this busy area, very close to the new Tribunal and both the metro and the tramway. There are also different buses outside the hotel which enable you to reach Pigalle, Montmartre etc or the centre of Paris easily. I found the place very clean, very convenient and very friendly. The shower was great and instead of offering different mini packs of toiletries they now have big recipients of decent soap which is a better option to my opinion. It is also close to a big supermarket called Intermarché where you can do some shopping and buy some food and there is also a traditional bakery – une boulangerie artisanale - next door where the baguettes and cakes are excellent. Although I had no time to go I was told that the hotel is also close to an Italian restaurant which offers discounts for hotel residents. I also felt very safe as you need to tap your electronic hotel card to enter the place and tap it again in the lift so no one from the outside can enter the place. As for the staff there are really wonderful and ready to help. I was able to borrow a boiler from them to prepare my herbal teas in my room and one morning as I arrived too late for breakfast a very nice lady went to the kitchen especially for me to make me a superb cup of coffee, the one I need to start the day. That was amazing and made my day. I highly recommend this hotel.

"I’ve been traveling for 50 years, and my stay at Ibis Red was one of the worst. The curtains were stained with mosquito blood and filthy, the floor and toilet were dirtier than public restrooms, and the poorly made beds were uninviting. No kettle in the room – unbelievable for a 3-star hotel. The water dispenser near reception had only two carton cups, rarely replaced, clearly pushing guests to buy low-quality bottled water at €3. A truly dreadful experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone."
