ibis Paris 17 Clichy-Batignolles Hotel 3 stars

Overall it was a pleasant stay, but I would improve 2 or 3 things. There weren't any slippers, and you really need a pair when you are staying in a hotel, because you don't want to travel with your slippers from home. Also, the room was for two persons, so you need to have more than two towels. You need at least 6 clean towels: 2 for the body, 2 for the hair and 2 for hands and face. Also the room was a bit small, but you got used to it. PS: I would suggest you check all the electricity outlets to be turned on before guests go to the room, cause we had a problem with ours, they weren't working until a technician fixed them.

A little above expectations

Communal areas of the hotel were clean, bright and spacious. Food was of a good standard and very good value for money. Our bedroom was quite small - Room 123 - for 2 adults and 1 child. Only one power outlet, there was a second but was in use by the TV.

My shower head didn’t work properly. A member of staff just entered my room without knocking. The walls are very thin so I could hear my neighbors. The cleaning staff were very nice and friendly but the check in staff downstairs weren’t friendly or even helpful. It’s not worth the money you spend to stay here.

We always enjoy staying at Ibis Hotels - but this time were very disappointed because we'd done lots of research and deliberately booked the Paris 17 Clichy hotel because it had a pool. We were disappointed to find that it was closed for cleaning for the whole of the time we were staying there and had no advance notice of this. Our son needs lots of exercise and because the weather was cold (as expected at the end of November) this was disappointing for us as we knew we'd need the pool or gym, and children are usually not welcome in the gym.

be ready to be disappointed. Never saw such dirty old furniture in the lobby around the bar. Rooms are not only old, but some of them are not even clean. Air con was not working so a heater was installed. Poor breakfast service. I can mention nice dinners in nearby restaurants in rue Brochant but IBIS has no credit for this. I stayed there 4 years ago, the pool was closed, but the rooms were clean, this time no pool and old dirty place. No next time for me

Breakfast was a zoo. No tea bags, noisy messy, worse than my high school cafeteria.

1. The room was very small and, particularly, the bathroom. Anyone with cases would find themselves, as we did, having difficulty moving. 2. We vacated our romm in the morning to give time for the cleaning. Yet on two days we were woken from an afternoon sleep by the cleaner wanting to enter. Would it not be possible for there to be a 'do not disturb' sign one could put on the door to avoid this? Other than that, the usual good experience we have with Ibis.

likely staff. near of metro station (porte de clichy) the beakfast was good; the room was clean, for me the only thing I didn't appreciate is not having a refrigerator and a kettle bathroom small but with everything we need

Everything was fine. The hotel is clean and comfortable, even if we thought that the rooms looked better in photos on Booking. Thank you.

I was told the wrong hours for breakfast at check-in so I paid for 5 days and ate only 3 days as it was closed earlier than I was told. The Pool hours did not work for my schedule either. It opened too late and closed mid day. Everything else was fine.
