Located between the Porte d'Orléans and the Porte de Gentilly, a 5-minutes walk from the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and 10-minutes from the Charlety Stadium. JO&JOE is located next to the RER B line which is directly connected to the center of Paris (20 minutes) and to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport (45 minutes). Orly Airport is only at 35 minutes. The Tramway T3 is very close too.

Upon my arrival on 25 June, I discovered that the accommodation was not fit for its intended purpose. Although the hotel description on the Accor booking platform states that the property is equipped with air conditioning, the cabin assigned to me had no functioning air conditioning. Given that the outside temperature exceeded 40°C, the conditions inside the cabin were unbearable and made it impossible to sleep or reasonably occupy the accommodation. As a consequence, at approximately 11:00 p.m. on the day of my arrival, I was forced to leave the hotel. Despite seeking assistance from reception, no practical solution or alternative accommodation was offered. Unable to secure another hotel at that late hour, I was left with no option but to remain on the street overnight until I was able to obtain alternative accommodation the following day. I was informed by JO&JOE hotels reception staff that I would be entitled to a refund and was advised to contact them via email to arrange the reimbursement. But, the replacement hotel was significantly more expensive than my original booking with them. Due to this circumstances a reimbursement of the additional accommodation costs I incurred as a direct result of the inability from the hotel to provide the advertised and reasonably habitable accommodation, would be the minimum. The absence of a functioning air conditioning system, despite its inclusion in the property’s advertised amenities, constitutes a material failure to provide the service that was contracted and paid for.
