Getting the refund they had promised previously took hours from my life.

I had a voucher. I was told the amount will be refunded after the end of validly date if not used. I emailed them a few days after the expiry date (since the refund didn't happen automatically ofc). My emails to various email addresses were ignored for weeks. Then in a longer letter I explained how this is unacceptable and sent it to all email address I found on them. They finally replied and after many more emails they cought up. They asked the same questions multiple times until they finally managed to do the refund. Were they hoping people forget their money (maybe some did unfortunately) and only act when threatened? When they offered me the voucher at the beginning I had to ask them in 3 separate emails to tell me exactly what is going to happen after the end of validity date, so I can refer to it later. It's good I did.

had a room for 2 people with a bunkbed.. so could sleep a kid as well. Breakfast was ok but basic. Service was friendly. Good location since near the station of Port D'orleans.

I stayed here as my niece and her classmates were on exchange and stayed here too and wanted to maximise my time with her - I’m a hotel designer and so comments below 1- shower pressure good but the door wouldn’t shut properly , shower door also too opaque and is opposite a mirror and a sheer shower curtain as form of divider , mirror is places in wrong location as you can see reflection whilst in bed so it’s poor design Toilet door also doesn’t shut properly 2- hallway design- I suggest less is more approach and keep the colour palette simple also note the smell- level 2 had a bad odour , level 5 was ok 3 - I suggest having hair dryers in the room (attached to wall) as it’s not convenient to have to go all the way back down to front desk to ask and then have to go back upstairs to get payment to pay a deposit for it-this should have been discussed at check in 4- room decor - I realise you’re on a budget but there is a product for every price point and the palette and materials can be refined I genuinely would love to help with any future refurbishment plans - contact : he… www.designeryint.com
