Pros: Hotel is very well located next to the metro, key bus routes, and several nice bakeries (like La Truffle Noire). Bed is comfy. Cons: Wi-Fi was very slow in the room - at around 9pm, it was 0.48Mbps download and 0.65Mpbs upload. Could not do work and had to hotspot from my phone. TV was also wonky with the remote working intermittently. Almost all the channels are in French except for the BBC. Service was poor. The team was unable to communicate in English (which is surprising for an international hotel). When we asked for in-room slippers, the team sent toilet rolls. But the guy was apologetic and gave free cans of coke when he realised the mistake. Housekeeping does not seem to work at night - front desk told me to come down to take the amenities myself (which is again surprising for a four-star hotel). During our check-in, the service staff kept attending to other people, even though we were Accor priority. On the whole, stay here if you want to be near transportation and good bakery, and if you can speak French and just need a clean bed, and nothing else.

No shampoo, no conditioner, no body lotion in the room… no restaurant or proper bar either. Nonodea how the 4 star ranking came from

We do not automatically put Body Lotion, Conditioner in the classic rooms. These are available only in the superior and privilege rooms. However, we are dedicated to pleasing our guests and would have been delighted to provide these products upon request. The hotel is well connected to the city center. We love the location as it made us experience Paris as locals rather than staying at a more touristy area. The room was clean and spacious. The people at the reception were friendly and nice. Our only suggestion would be to inform guests about reception hours and how to enter the hotel when the reception is closed. We look forward to our next stay!

Well located. Lovely and highly professional reception desk staff. Peaceful and quiet bedroom. Comfortable bed. Shower temperature was perfect!

Easy checking done by Thomas. I spend 2 nights. The room was clean, the bed was confortable. the room was super quiet, zero traffic noise. Great location.

I spent 9 days at Hôtel Mercure Paris Alésia and enjoyed my stay. The staff at the reception were very warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I also found my room to be very pleasant and clean. The hotel is also well located and is a only a few minutes away from the nearest metro station. Will definitely look forward to staying with them again the next time I visit Paris.

Hotel had turned Aircon off - was far to hot in room

The Aircon had been turned off by Hotel staff, I requested it to be turned on but they said they would not . The room was very very hot, maybe 25c, far to warm to sleep comofrtably. Very unimpressed as this is supposed to be a 4* hotel.

Indeed, when we activate the heating in the hotel we cannot activate the air conditioning on a particular room. We had a pleasant stay in a nice room. The hotel was conveniently located although the lack of available parking slots (due to rude customers or drivers who left their cars there permanently) made the offloading a bit of a challenge.

The hotel rooms are a bit on the small side. The television in the room did not have BBC television stations. The location is great for variety of affordable restaurants and good transport links to Paris south, Gare du Nord and CDG airport..

The location for the hotel was perfect: very close to metro and tram for accessing the city. The room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. I was travelling alone for part of my stay so the location again was ideal. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a problem with the rooms and the receptionist wouldn't help us and even lied to us. But! The manager was really helpfull, understood and helped us! The rooms are good, breakfast is ok, the hotel hasn't got a parking as in the description is mentioned, but there's a private parking at the corner not from Mercure. It's good, but you have to go with your luggage on the street and it's a little walk. The places by accor app doesn't know the hotel and they don't know anything about the club Accor loyalty program.

Very nice place to stay for 1 night : easy access and travel by car (close to Peripherique), by metro (line 4) and tramway. The room was confortable, and the only detail to be corrected is the absence of hangers for the towels in the bathroom.

I my family and friends booked many room in this period. In my room had not been upgraded because of fully booking. But I just know you change standard policy for Welcome drink for Platinum Elite Accor member I got only one welcome voucher although there are 2 persons in this room. I have stayed in accor hotel for many years but this is the first time that I got 1 voucher. You staff told me this is accor policy.
