This is the best Mercure Franchise I have stayed in and I can say that my partner and I have been in a few. I will always come back. The rooms are always way above standard. The team is amazing, the breakfast is the best ever. Please don’t change anything or make it even better. this the only hotel I will recommend with no hesitation. We will be back soon. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Hôtel Mercure Paris Porte d'Orléans. I chose your hotel based on my previous positive experiences with the Mercure brand and my loyalty to the ALL Accor program. Unfortunately, this stay fell significantly below the standards I have come to expect from your network. From the very beginning, there were issues at check-in. Communication in English at the reception was very limited, which made it difficult to resolve even basic matters. Additionally, there was an error with my room assignment – I had booked a room with two single beds, but instead received a room with one large bed. The room itself was in poor condition. It appeared unclean and not properly maintained. I was particularly disappointed with the bathroom – its condition was unacceptable for a four-star hotel. The ceiling was in extremely poor shape, or partially missing, which created a very negative impression. Furthermore, the breakfast offering was well below the standard I have experienced at other Mercure hotels, both in terms of quality and variety. Overall, I must say that this stay was a major disappointment and did not reflect the four-star rating or the level of service I associate with the Accor group. Unfortunately, due to my frustration at the time, I did not take photos, especially of the bathroom ceiling, which looked very bad. I kindly ask you to address the issues raised and inform me what actions will be taken to improve the quality of your services. I also believe that appropriate compensation for the inconvenience would be justified.
