Just fine. Good price, clean, tiny (bathroom is almost impossible for me as I'm 190cm tall - trying to shave is problematic!). Neighbourhood "ok", if a bit soulless, and certainly not rough. Public transport somewhat distant, but I made up for it using Lime bikes. At the time, there were lots of German school kids in the hotel, so it was a little bit noisy (harmless and good-natured). Overall, if the price is right, this a good, cheap alternative.

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your kind words. Your satisfaction is our greatest reward. We look forward to welcoming you again. Best Regards. Charlotte Direction

Our entire Paris break spoilt at the front desk by the ill treatment I recieved in front of my children by the receptionist who insulted and abused us at check in. My French is weak and so the receptionist made sure that the entire reception area knew this by loudly questioning if I could understand what he was saying in French and English as I tried to give him our booking details and passports. My wife and children got in the lift intimidated and looked at me with pity. That night I lost a part of my place as their husband and father in their hearts. I know that receptionist himself has faced a difficult life. He was a black man, wearing spectacles and wooden beads, and quite obviously a dandy. But they never extend to us the same courtesy they demand from others. Please watch the CCTV from that night to see how rude he was. There was no need, we should treat everyone with equal respect, and working in a hotel reception we know that after a long journey people will have a language barrier and be tired. I didn't raise my voice, I just tried to get through it. My children feared having to go through the reception every morning and night in case "the man with the wooden beads" would be there. I hope he finds his peace, the world will not be kind to a man so filled with malice.

Dear Sir, I'm sorry you felt this way. As explained in another comment, my colleague didn't mean to make you feel that way. He didn't insult you. We simply ask our guests if they speak English or French (the main languages). Some speak other languages. I hope you were able to enjoy your vacation. Your comfort remains our priority. We apologize for this situation. Best Regards. Charlotte Manager
