I really liked our stay at the Ibis Styles Porte D'Orléans. The rooms were spacious, stylish and clean. The clerk that helped us at checkin was exceptional at his job, offering great service and going out of his way to suit us. The clerk at check out on the under hand was an absolute B****. The hotel offers complementary tea, coffee, and drinking water. They also have a good breakfast consisting of fresh bread, fresh orange juice, and pastries.

Again I used to stay at the Novotel really next to this hotel, for sure the room is little better and the reception set up too , but the staff at IBIS Styles Paris Porte d’orleans are so much more friendly and ready to find solutions that no way I be going back to the Novotel. No sure is that come from the top management energy and support great job . Must add afternoon and late shift during my stay and wonderful person at the reception was there her name Maïmouna she’s always welcome you in regardless the time with a friendly approach and great smile, I extend 5 more days she realize that my keys from my first reservation be canceled she anticipated and was waiting with the new key when I came in around 22.00 that what you call great attention to details and service. As you know always hard to find great staff to represent a brand she’s is one . Thank you everyone for a great welcome job

overall good, breakfast can be quite busy, located 5-10 min walk from metro. Bedroom is ok, bedlinnen is made not made from cotton and quite sweaty. Overall good

Good value at ~100 EUR/night for a fairly large room by Paris standards, including a good breakfast (freshly squeezed OJ, fresh baguette, Bonne Maman jam etc.). It's just outside of Paris but a short walk to Line 14 of the Metro. On my last stay, I was assigned a disabled room so NO shower curtain/partition: this means the bathroom will be wet. The receptionist at night was new to the hotel (temp agency) and unable to change the room. I was initially sent to another room by mistake - as there's only one elevator, it takes a while to go up and down. No apology. The disabled room only had ONE towel (for 2 adults...), which was another shortcoming that's easy to fix with proper training and better processes. I had sent an email to reception ahead of my stay to request a room facing the courtyard but my request hadn't been taken into account this time (last time, it was), so I suggest calling the hotel a few days ahead to make sure the room assignment is NOT disabled and NOT facing the busy street. To be fair, if you're on a high floor, you won't hear much noise even if facing the street so it didn't bother me too much on this occasion but would imagine it would be noisy on a lower floor... Overall, I still think it offers great value for Paris - I prefer paying ~100 for a large room with a good breakfast vs. 200+ for a tiny room in a more central location. It's a trade-off and will come down to personal preferences. With proper training of staff, this could be a much better experience!
