Only spoke English but the reception was accommodating and extremely helpful. Room was clean, and very nice. Breakfast had several options and was delicious. Hotel is well located, and had a bus stop just outside the front door. Zero complaints.

The hotel lived up to my expectations, good price-quality ratio. The rooms are of comfortable size. The location is very handy to do business on Kirchberg but a bit tricky to reach from the center. I was a bit unhappy with the dim lightning in the room.

Booked this hotel for my partner’s birthday for a bathtub room. I called three separate times - before booking, after booking and days before arrival - and was lied to every single time. We arrive and are told both bathtub rooms are already taken. One of them had apparently been occupied for a week. So when I called days earlier to reconfirm, they already knew we wouldn’t get the room and still lied about it. The receptionist basically gave off an "it is what it is" vibe. No apology, no accountability, no attempt to fix it. I had to suggest a partial refund myself and was met with a defensive, pissy attitude for expecting them to honor what they promised. The room felt half-baked. Nespresso machine missing parts, no closet, no trash can in the toilet, only two cups of different sizes. Basic stuff missing. Late-night reception was openly hostile. I asked for two glasses for champagne I brought and was instead offered to buy two glasses of champagne for €32. I asked for two forks and got some annoyed muttering something about "...not a restaurant". We paid a dog fee they knew about weeks in advance. The room had zero dog amenities. No bowl, no bed, nothing. The fee turned out to be just an extra cleaning charge. Bottom line: broken promises, misleading communication, dismissive staff and a general sense that once you’ve paid your experience doesn’t matter. Absolutely not worth the trouble. The only real positive: the pillows were genuinely great.

Courtesy, transparency, and a genuine willingness to assist are fundamental standards for us, and we regret that you felt dismissed rather than supported. Regarding the room equipment, the missing items you mentioned (coffee machine parts, basic amenities, and dog-related arrangements) clearly do not reflect the experience we aim to provide. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant departments so that these shortcomings can be reviewed and corrected. Concerning the pet fee, we understand your expectation that it would include dedicated amenities. We are sorry that this was not clarified properly and that it felt unjustified from your perspective. While we are relieved that you enjoyed the comfort of our pillows, we deeply regret that the rest of your stay did not meet expectations. Your comments are being taken very seriously, as they highlight important areas where we must improve — particularly in communication and guest care.
