I had an excellent stay at Mercure Luxembourg Off Kirchberg. The building itself is very stylish and well maintained. Rooms are very comfortable and in perfect condition. Breakfast is good, with the expected options. Staff in general was really nice.

During our stay, our room was not cleaned even once, which we found unacceptable. Additionally, whenever we needed clean towels, we had to personally go to the reception to request them, as they were not replaced or provided automatically.

On the day I checked out from the hotel, I left the electric shaver (very premium model) in the room. Nobody contacted me in the future period. After more than 2 weeks and 3 inquiery emails, I've managed to get the information that the shaver was indeed found in the room. I was asked to pay the shipping costs, even though the issue could have been resolved earlier while I was still in the city. This cost will be paid, but the feeling won't go away that easy. Too bad, because I really enjoyed staying in your hotel and found it great. As a long term ALL member, I will stay away from Mercure brand and consider others.

All items found in guest rooms are carefully collected and stored in a secure designated area for an extended period of time—typically for over one year. When an item is identified and linked to a guest, our standard practice is to proactively contact the guest using the available contact details. In other cases, we rely on guests to reach out to us, after which we promptly investigate and respond. That said, it is clear that in your case, our communication did not meet the level of service we strive to provide. We fully understand your concern, especially as the matter might have been resolved more conveniently during your stay in the city. This is not the experience we wish for our valued guests, particularly loyal members such as yourself. We truly appreciate your loyalty and are very sorry to hear that this incident has impacted your perception of our brand. We hope you might reconsider in the future and give us another opportunity to provide you with the seamless experience you rightfully expect.
