This hotel delivers the basic, good location and good price. Nonetheless, it is in need of an update on its facilities. The curtains are falling, blackout missing - you wake up with sunlight. The offer of pillows was not great, and insufficient.

Everything was fine but the room and hallway were a bit smelly, like mold or mildew and the window wouldn’t open to get fresh air

well located, clean, and meet all needs well. Only two problems to mention. You had a new staff handling my check in alone. He told me my stay was excluding breakfast and that I could purchase it separately for quite significant amount (more than 20eur and I decided to not include breakfast). I explained that it's surprising that I didn't had inclusive of breakfast and said I was quite sure my assistant had booked inclusive and asked him to confirm his statement. He confirmed his statement and I accepted the situation. However I did send email to my assistant flagging that the booking was exclusive breakfast. Due to time zone differences, the misunderstanding was resolved near 9am the next day morning so I nearly missed the breakfast and you didn't offer the option to refund share of price. His colleague explained to me you have two systems to check and he had only checked one system. Firstly, you need to train your new recruits better or don't let them operate clients alone. Secondly, if you tell clients there's no breakfast then you must be capable to reimburse charges you taken that was inclusive of breakfast. I didn't want to make a problem so I ate breakfast twice, once outside earlier and then one quick just before 10am in your breakfast lounge just to settle it all. Your breakfast is not so impressive, second day you ran out of butter and had to ask for refill. Either way, I think you should have handled the situation much better, especially when your untrained staff tell clients they can't eat the breakfast without paying additional money. Except for this, I would given you 10/10 rating.
