The housekeeping staff was excellent as was the check-in process and the early morning shuttle. After that, we will not stay at IBIS again. We were a family of 10 staying in 3 rooms for 3 nights. I booked this hotel because of its location to the airport as we had a 6 am flight and they had a shuttle to the airport at 4 am. Our first interactions with the hotel after checking in were in the dining room. Our waitress could not have cared less. From seating us to coming back to check on us was 12 minutes and we were the only ones in the restaurant and she was chatting with a co-worker. Our daughter has celiac and we asked what was gluten free. She recommended the pasta. Our daughter asked if it was gluten free and the waitress wasn't sure. At this time a table next to us was seated. They received right away a basket of bread - we never did - and their food was delivered before ours. My husband ordered a mixed drink but had to go to the bar himself to get another one. Not a big deal as he enjoyed his conversation with the bar tender. We had to ask for dessert. Our room had 2 thin bath towels and 1bath mat that we had to use in the shower as it was so slippery. We are in our 70's and not interested in falling. We used one of the bath towels then for a bath mat as the floor getting out of the shower was also very slippery. We shared a towel to dry ourselves. There are bumps on the floor, I presume to hinder falling but they were also slippery, so I wonder what has happened to rubber mats for standing on. The beds had one pillow each with one extra for the room. My husband used it and I used the ones I use on the plane. We ordered breakfast bags for our departure day and were told they would be 5 Euros. When picking them up, he said the charge was 8.5 E and charged us that. And we were charged for 9 and received 8. We saw another hotel around behind Ibis that is also close to the airport. Should be ever be back, we will stay there. And we won't put IBIS on our places to stay in any other city.

Lovely hotel with great staff in a great location. The only fault I can find is that they allow animals in the rooms which I don't like for hygiene and allergy reasons and the noise.
