Bad management

In the room(397) was very cold, like 18 degrees. I’ve received a radiator that had worked non-stop. The parking barrier didn’t worked in one evening. The sound isolation is poor. The shower tub is loosing water into the room. The path(hall and elevator) to parking is dirty. I’ve called twice to reception (room service did’t answered) to order somw wine in the room.

had a problem with a duplicated hold/charge on my credit card at check-in

I was waiting some time to check in, there were 2 people in front of me who were trying to check in without even being sure that they had a booking in this hotel or in the other Sofitel in town, check in and check out in this hotel is often slow, they usually only have 1 person at reception, because of the wait the concierge decided to check me in, my reservation was fully prepaid in advance but instead of applying a €200 hold on my credit card he applied a €200 charge, his colleagues discovered this hours later, reversed the €200 charge and applied another €200 hold to my credit card, unfortunately I only discovered this after check out when I saw that I still had €400 blocked on my credit card by this hotel through 2 €200 charges on my credit card account, this was obviously not convenient and not fully understandable for me to understand what had happened and why, I asked the hotel manager for an explanation but didn't receive one, I checked out of the hotel on Sunday and the credit card transactions only got resolved on Tuesday morning, everything else about the stay was fine, as an Accor Platinum member I asked for a late check out and was a bit disappointed to be only granted a late check out until 13.00 compared to the normal check out time of 12.00
