Back again and just as good. Efficient check-in, friendly staff, and easy parking. Clean room with a couch, and we slept 9 hours in total silence. Best sleep in years.Breakfast was excellent: fresh pastries, pancakes, English breakfast, great coffee. Will definitely return. Our top pick.

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and extremely professional and helpful staff. It is quite difficult to get to due to it being next to a very busy four-laned road and it was made more stressful when trying to offload luggage initially. We found the hotel car park which is a short distance from the hotel but had to ring from there to ask how to get to the front in order to offload. To do so, guests have to basically drive onto the precincted area at the front of the hotel. The food was very nice on the whole. However, I paid £6 extra for prawns on my salad and was presented with three! When the waiter asked how the meal was, I said I thought three prawns in my salad was not very good. He just said he'd pass my comments on. I heard no more. That aside, the bedroom was comfortable and everything was very clean and well presented. The staff are brilliant.
