Our 3rd stay at Mercure Villeneuve Loubet plage was ok, and we love the location but there were a few things we were not happy about . The room badly needs to have an update in decoration and an extractor fan should be fitted in the toilet and bathroom. Storage space was limited, and we also found a cockroach near the kitchen area . There was glass found in the pool which a fellow guest cut their foot on, and we were asked to vacate the pool area early one evening without prior notice due to a private party booking the whole area. This year , we also found the pool service to be quite slow due to preference given to Syracuse guests

However, we sincerely regret that certain aspects of your stay—from June 7 to June 14, 2026—did not meet your expectations. We have taken note of your comments regarding the room décor, ventilation, and storage space. Please rest assured that your feedback has been shared with our technical and management teams. Regarding the cockroach you mentioned, we adhere to strict control protocols and have immediately stepped up our treatment measures to prevent any recurrence. As for the pool, we would like to clarify the situation regarding the broken glass incident on June 8, 2026: this event was entirely beyond our control and was caused accidentally by a child. Fortunately, no one was injured. Our team immediately secured and cleaned the area to ensure everyone's well-being. Furthermore, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the private booking of the pool area on the evening of June 11. We fully understand your frustration regarding the lack of advance notice, and we are revising our communication procedures to better inform our guests in the future. Finally, we regret that you perceived the pool service as slow; we strive to ensure that all our guests—whether staying with us or at the Syracuse—receive the same level of attention.
