Mercure Villeneuve-Loubet Plage hotel 4 stars

I booked a sea view bedroom at premium price. We were given a narrow bedroom with access to a communal garden fitted with a plastic lawn and fenced with an ugly green color metallic grid. It was in sharp contrast with the wonderful photos displayed on the booking.com web site. Moreover, it was not possible to close the window to the terrasse. The breakfast priced at 18 euro per person was served in one corner of the reception room. It does look like the owner of the hotel has one passion: Making profits.

A very nice, quite place and well situated also for reaching our work destination.

I did not stay at this hotel and had to find alternative accommodation. I logged a complaint and a full refund has been agreed with the hotel.

Warm and friendly welcome. Have stayed before and staff are always happy and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Evening meal very good and excellent breakfast. Parking conveniently close.

Everything else was nice but the wifi didn't work my entire stay so I couldn't connect to my business and the noise from the bar goes too late. Because of the wifi I won't stay there again which is a shame because everything else is ok.

What we liked: the staff-great people, the cleaning ladies were the best!!; the room-very clean, nice colors, good bed. Good location by the beach. Great restaurant for dinner and drinks (order the risotto and pasta-exceptional). Overall it is very peaceful and nice. You get to see all the planes coming/leaving Nice. What we didn't like: parking was not in the same place, you have to cross the street and pay 9€/day; our room had no sea view, nor patio-as it was described on the website; wi-fi did not work during the day, only very early in the morning.

Perfect location, nice swimming pool (towels included) and breakfast with sea view. Drinks at the pool are way to expensive, 5 euro for a soft drink. Car park at the opposite of the street works fine. It's noisy in the hotel due to the nearby airport you can clearly hear the planes landing and taking-off WiFi is slow

Very pleasant, the terrace was the highlight and made our stay. The cleaning of the room did let it down unfortunately, as was our front desk welcome when we arrived. A little unfriendly and our room as not ready as expected.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the hotel - everything worked fine, the staff was very polite and positive to whatever wish we had. Room and cleaning perfect. We have stayed on many MECURE Hotels over the years and primarely in Europe, this hotel was the best.

Staff were very friendly, thank you. Great location & fantastic rooftop environment. Cold food was fantastic although the dumb waiter did not keep the foot hot when coming from the kitchen downstairs. We had to send out dinner back three times as it was not hot. Terrible WiFi. Have not stayed somewhere with such bad capabilities, even after being reset. Room was great, spacious and well furnished.

Good location. Staff very helpful and flexible. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast outside at the pool in front of the sea is a great start of the day. Parking available is also a plus. We had a very good stay.
