Booked one night for stay before an early flight the next morning. The hotel is perfectly located for the airport, we used the free shuttle bus service which runs to the airport every 30 minutes. Lovely clean, fresh, comfortable room. Big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Beds comfortable and nice ‘Rituals’ toiletries. We didn’t use the restaurant this time, but the breakfast selection looked good. The hotel is near a tram stop, so getting in and out of Nice town is easy to do, just remember to get tram tickets and to validate them once you get on the tram, or you’ll risk the fine. The road outside is a bit noisy, it being so close to the airport and there’s traffic coming and going all night, so do take earplugs if this would bother you. The staff were helpful, spoke perfect English (if this is a consideration for you), and were really friendly and efficient. We had a great stay and I’d definitely use the hotel again.

My luggage was lost between Rome & Nice. Asked airport to deliver it when found to my hotel (not Novotel). Next morning they said I had to pick it up at the airport. So I checked out of other hotel, picked up luggage then rang Novotel from airport to check in for 1 night. I was in Nice for a family wedding in Northen Italy. My sister contacted me & said to meet them at train station in Nice to travel to wedding venue 1 day early. I had only been in allocated room 5 or 10 minutes, didn't touch or use anything so I asked receptionist to cancel my booking. She said I would still have to pay full price. I was not impressed, it added to the stress of lost luggage.

Unfortunately, when once check-in is done, the payment has to be done too. Moreover, cancellation is available only until one day before checkin, at midnight.
