Nice rooms, well laid out, comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms, cordial staff, perfect location, and great price. With the No. 2 tram stop now located a hundred metres from the hotel, it is even better.

Being a recurring client of Novotel in multiple locations, I have the opportunity to compare the service and overall experience. The hotel is currently being renovated, which should improve the overall experience in the future. A few things are however to improve. First, I explicitly asked before going, and then when I arrived, to replace the duvet with a blanket. I did not get any feedback or explanation why this was not done. Then, the restaurant has to improve. The food looks microwaved and not cooked on site. The result is disappointing, for a rather hefty price. Being a gold member, I expected a form of upgrade if the hotel was not full - not there. The status does not seem to provide any specific advantage (besides a free drink). In Paris, there is a upgrade to a large room in the last floor (with Nespresso machine), sweets, and a few more attentions - and a blanket as requested. The personnel is very friendly (reception, restaurant) and the management is also on the ball. This is why I continue to go there, but I hope that they can improve a bit.

Reception and collection from the airport excellent. Restaurant food and service first class. Room and aménités reasonable except for the plastic glasses provided which were very fragile, two of which could not be used as they already had cracks probably caused by mishandling.

We enjoyed our stay very much. On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Terminal 1 at Nice Cote d'Azur and with very convenient transportation to Nice city by tram. The shuttle to and from the airport is great. For those with cars, there is ample underground parking at the hotel at a reasonable cost. All members of the staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. I would especially like to compliment the gentleman in charge of the breakfast room whose name, unfortunately, I did not get. The rooms and bathrooms were fine and had all the necessary conveniences including a large screen smart TV. They are somewhat dated and could use a refurbishment. On the problematic side, I should point out that the rooms on the eastern side facing the airport become very warm and stuffy due to direct sunlight during the day. It is not possible to open a window, and since at this time of year the AC is off, the rooms can become rather unbearable. Some solutions to this should be found. We were kindly offered a change of rooms to the shaded side. Public areas of the hotel are undergoing renovation and in fairness, I believe this fact should be brought to the attention of those reserving. The work is being done in a way that minimizes bother to the guests but nevertheless it degrades the hotel experience and is something that the hotel should bring to the attention of those interested in reserving. On one day of our stay, there was a 5-6 hour water cut-off. I believe that in addition to informing guests the hotel would be wiser to make some gesture as we are paying in full for far less than optimal service. At the very least, large bottles of water should be placed in the rooms. Preferably some kind of discount should be offered in compensation. Breakfast is quite good and tasty. I believe though that offering only one vegetable, tomatoes, is not sufficient and that at least cucumbers and lettuce should be available, as is the case in most Novotels that we have stayed at. Bottom line, we would definitely recommend this hotel for visits to Nice.

So disappointed,staff of front office not enough helpful, I was did online check in ,when I arrivals they ask me present my credit card for pre authorised Extras 200€ I was not expect that , I already was paid 400€ for 3night, then I was refused, I cancelled my reservations, but the rates it non refundable,now they try charge for me full amount of 3night with I didn't staying, without extras the reception refused gived me room key, atm I block my bank account, and I don't pay no any one sent eur of that. You hotel made fraud , becaus in web pages nothing not staying information the gues must after arrivals preauthorized extras . Newer again not in used any Accor services and deffonatly not recommended your brand no any other guest .

Your credit card has been refused before your arrival and we never charge anything on your credit card. When you've arrived at the hotel, Sandie, my assistant ask from you another credit card as a guarantee for your room and payment has been refused again. Sandie offer to you a coffee and you've stayed at the bar for a while. You've canceled your booking then, and left the hotel Could you send me a proof that we have charged your credit card for 3 nights? 400€ ?? This was a real shame that the air-conditioning wasn't working. We pick this hotel to stay at as we had a very early flight and wanted to get a good nights sleep. Unfortunately it didn't work out this way as the air conditioning was not working. We were not notified that this was the case when checking in. I think this is an area that the management needs to look into.

the quality of the bed and the cleanliness and brightness of the room helped me to relax and recover ; the evening dinner at the restaurant was from a high quality; the service of the personnel is very appreciable; the only thing Novotel should improve is the replacement of the handshowers by a ceiling showertype (or mixed hand and ceiling)

Hermetically sealed room, hot, no aircon, dreadful (God only knows what it's like in summer!)... We were given to understand that as Accor members we were being given a special room rate - we arrived at the same time as fellow guests and checked in together. They were placed in a similar room on the same floor as us and their room rate was about 1/3 less than ours. Not a great business model. I should state that I didn't query this discrepancy. On a positive note all staff, apart from one, were friendly and performed professionally (I guess that the 'one' knows who she is and the reason why I make this comment).

Reception staff were very helpful and attentive while the shuttle service continues to be a real plus. Dinner was tasty and fresh and the service, along with that of the bar that evening, was very good. Excellent sleep in comfortable, clean rooms - glad we opted for executive rooms. Well worth the extra cost. Disturbance from renovations negligible. One criticism- have stayed here on several occasions and noted a decline in the quality and range of breakfast.

very bad, service was poor and when we paid the bill it was obviously wrong and highly overstated, after a long time they came back with the ticket and agreed they were wrong without apologizing ; I get the impression there is serious fraud going on, I will never again stay with Novotel, I hate being treated this way!

The service was good, the receptionist on Sunday , upon checking out was really friendly . However , I need to convey, the breakfast was amazing , hence the milk was expired and already eaten by my son . This is very important not to be missed to check because otherwise the children will suffer. Fortunately my son feel good and didn’t suffered any stomach upset.
