Our hotel room with a balcony was clean and had everything we needed. Despite being very close to the airport it was extremely quiet. The location worked well for the train station/ tram and airport. The only thing that could have been better was breakfast. We found there were a lack of plates and cutlery and space for sitting. Things did improve with this during our trip though.

We arrived late at night. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Shower wasn’t working very well. Thankfully we were only booked for one evening.

We booked this hotel for our vacation because we wanted something close to the tram and the train. This area does not have a lot of walkable restaurants or shopping, but a few stops on the tram gets you to just about anything you want. Hotel was clean and staff was very nice.

Checked in early. Very pleasant reception staff. Excellent suite rooms (booked 2) better than some luxury 5 star rooms. Spacious, very clean. Free water available. Calm tones. Good breakfast. Fast checkout. Little play zone near reception. Nice pool. Zero noise in room despite airport and road. Tram 100 meters away. Train station 5 minutes by foot. Airport 9 minutes by tram.

The hotel is comfortable and convenient located with excellent transport links, however there are not many options for eating out around. We had to order take away three nights out of five. The room was large and with good amenities like a microwave, sink and a fridge, but unfortunately we had some minor issues during our stay. There was an awful smell of sewage coming out of the shower drain, the flush had an internal leak that we could hear all night and the shower gel hasn’t been replenished despite me asking for it. They sent someone to look into the smell, which seemed to improve but definitely did not solve the problem completely. At a certain point we just got used to it and made sue to keep the bathroom door always closed.

I love the excellent view in the airport runway and we own half of the rooftop terrace. The room is big enough for 3 people and we love that the WC is separated from the bathing room so we don't have to fight for toilet as a family. The only hiccup is the kettle constantly leak water and short circuit the room and lead to power outage during boiling. And the staff was not surprised about this, showing that is happened many times already. I don't understand why they do not replace the kettle to avoid short circuit and power outage.

Found the perfect place for my family to stay while visiting the Cannes Festival and touring the french Riviera. Antoine was super helpful in availing us the comfort required during the stay (we were traveling with a 3 month old). While the stay was fantastic and I know it’s not the norm in EU, having a bell boy to carry the luggage would have been awesome!

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. When we arrived, the room had not been cleaned properly. The bedside tables were covered in dust, the shelves were dusty, the bathtub had what looked like nail polish stains, and there was a clothing tag left on the floor from previous guests. The windows were dirty, and the curtains looked like they hadn't been washed in a very long time. The breakfast was also very disappointing. We stayed for five nights, and not a single dish changed during our entire stay. The cutlery was consistently dirty, and we often had to search through the tray to find clean utensils. Overall, it was a sad and disappointing experience. We expected a much higher standard from Novotel. On the positive side, the location is excellent. Both the airport and the city center are within walking distance.

All of the front desk team members were great, except for the night shift employee who was working on the night of the 12th. He was unpleasant and incorrectly accused me of being in the lobby for two hours. In reality, I was in the lobby from approximately 12:40 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. while waiting for my daughter to finish showering before bedtime, as we had an early flight on the morning of the 13th. I reminded him that I had come in and purchased two bottles of water from him, and that I had only been in the lobby for about an hour. Despite this, he again accused me of being untruthful and insisted that I had been there for two hours. To be clear, I was sitting in the lobby and occasionally dozing off, but I was not lying down or asleep. I did not believe there was any issue with quietly sitting in the lobby while waiting for my daughter. I feel that the situation could have been handled much more respectfully and professionally. Unfortunately, that was not the case, and I was disappointed by the way I was treated.

The parking garage system was incredibly complicated and overly difficult to use. It ate up tons of time prior to check in, and especially with leaving for the airport. The printed instructions from the staff were difficult to follow, and the process to use them worked only inconsistently. There are many other nearby hotels that seem much easier.

The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. We enjoyed the bar and the staff made every effort to accommodate our drink requests with the liquors available. We received wonderful service and courtesy from all of the staff; even help printing out a form we needed to submit to the French government. -The hotel is in excellent condition; the lobby and dining area are kept very clean and the finishes are in pristine condition. I would suggest a different surface cleaner as the tables were covered with sticky spots from the dried cleaner and we had to wipe them down on our own. Our room was spotless; paint, walls, floors and furniture were in perfect condition. Laundry facility was very convenient for our week-long stay. -The breakfast selection was good; the fresh fruit and bakery items were amazing!! Excellent Kusmi teas and good coffee/espresso machines. The lack of daily variety was a bit disappointing as were the standard powdered type eggs. Mix up the offerings on Tuesday and Thursday and weekends and every day would feel special. -The staff begin stocking the breakfast area around 4 am using a standard hard-wheeled cart; when combined with the hard surfaces and concrete building, it sounded like a bowling alley in our first floor room. I was woken up every morning by the noise, and while I would never complain to staff carrying our necessary duties, I will recommend you find a soft wheeled alternative to avoid disturbing your guests on the first floor. -Parking garage was convenient but it is in terrible condition. -Location near the airport was super convenient, but the neighborhood is not good with lots of people loitering around the property looking for easy prey. It is a bit of a desert with no real dining options or night life nearby. This sense of being remote from the city center is due to the slow tram service and lack of a metro in Nice. -That being said, we were next to the lovely Parc Phoenix and just a few stops away from accessing the Promenade and the beach. We had some lovely evenings in Nice complemented by your well maintained hotel, and wonderful staff. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
