all good until bedbugs made their appearance!

Dear Catalin, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Guest safety and comfort are extremely important to us, which is why every report of this nature is treated with the utmost seriousness. Upon receiving your notification, the room was immediately taken out of service and blocked from further reservations. In accordance with our standard procedures, a specialized pest control company was arranged to inspect the room and carry out preventive treatment measures. As part of our protocol, any report of a potential issue is followed by a thorough inspection, appropriate preventive actions, and additional verification before the room is returned to service. We would also like to note that our team was not informed of this concern during your stay. Receiving such information while the guest is still on property allows us to respond more quickly, investigate the matter in real time, and provide immediate assistance if necessary. After last minute hotel cancellation I was rebooked to ibis in the middle of the night. Night manager did the job but I got a treatment of the "idiot foreigner" and after I left reception and made my way to the elevator the receptionist shared details of my story in Polish with the night guard. Maybe they thought I cannot recognize international words in Polish version. Not cool.
