What a wonderful hotel to relax in, staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of many of the staff but Isuru the butler was especially helpful as was Achmed (I hope I have spelt his name correctly) from Le Jardin restaurant. The food was varied, tasty and plentiful, the room was spacious and very clean. This was our second visit and we hope to go back next year.

A brilliant hotel, with an aesthetic that is the perfect blend of culture, history and luxury. The half board package is more generous than other hotels, however they had reduced the allowance since our precious stay (only 3 months prior), which is was a disappointment. I also found that the reduction of water allowance (2 cans per person, per day) seems unnecessarily tight and out of character of a luxury establishment such as the Raffles. I’ve stayed at numerous other hotels on the Palm and have not faced this very silly constraint. I’d argue it is also counterproductive as I found myself ordering less cocktails by the pool/beach - if I were more hydrated then I would’ve naturally felt a greater temptation for an alcoholic beverage! It is without doubt that the hotel would make more from selling £16-18 cocktails than what they may be saving on plain, canned water. The staff are lovely throughout, and I enjoyed the food at all of the restaurants. Note, it is quite far along the Palm, so it can take quite some time getting into the city. However, this also means that your stay feels like a true getaway from the hustle & bustle. Besides a few negatives, I would recommend this hotel. I’d also mention - visit the indoor pool if you can! It’s a lovely, quiet oasis.

Lovely quiet afternoon tea without the noise and the fuss. The selection of teas were excellent with details and origin. The selection of sweet and savoury were well portioned. A delightful welcome drink helped open the palette. And of course the scones always makes my afternoon tea complete. Thank you Su for taking care of us
