Cost vs experience is not up to the standard. For the price the experience wasn't lush. Even though whilst booking was requested higher floor and was assured they will do their best when we arrive, we were not even given option and it was Pre decided. We stayed at 7th floor out of 30+ story hotel. View of living room was stunning just facing the sea. We booked 2 bed premium suite which was well decorated but we found it very small . Beds were also very standard and small . Storage was poor very small wardrobes and only 2. Very inconsiderate Cinsidering 6 guests. Very few and small mirrors . Beach and swimming area is small and was over crowded, no indoor Gym, no tennis courts etc . We had half board, we found buffet and breakfast halls to be overly busy , though they welcome you and take you to your table but service at table is poor. Waiters are very busy to ask for coffee and tea. I wouldn’t fault them as place was heaving so it would take a good amount of time for things to arrive. Coffee and tea were 90% of the time barely warm. Food options and food quality was good no doubt . Hotel positions is amazing too, just in the centre of JBR. Very convenient to move around . I would suggest not booking half board only breakfast would be enough as there are 100s of restaurants in walking distance with different cuisines. Finally it wasn’t a bad trip I would say but for price they lack loads and think better options are available at JBR for this price .

1. The breakfast buffet was disorganised people not applying social distance I have seen people using their hands to grab food and the waitress did not do any thing or change the container . Waitress or water are not helping in allocating the seats so people were rushing to set in any table they find even if your coffee on the table. 2. Public display of affection which is not allowed world wide unfortunately I have witness multiple occasions of public display affection in the pool with alot of kids around the pool, guard did not interfere I have to talk to security to stop them this is not acceptable. 3.pool party started 8 pm and supposed to end 11 pm however we could not sleep I have talked to receptionist and they have not done any thing despite the instruction was given earlier by the hotel management the party is from 8 pm to 11 pm.

I was out in Dubai to propose to my girlfriend. Rameez on the front desk was amazing in assisting with preparing the room and very kindly gave us an upgrade on the bedroom! Aman who was working on floor 28 was brilliant and kept the room amazingly clean...thanks Aman! The hotel food was amazing! The only criticism would be that the sunbeds by the pool are first come first served and the front row ones are reserved for customers that pay a reservation fee, as the pool is run by a beach club company not the hotel....

We stayed for 10 days for our honeymoon. The hotel is perfectly located on JBR beach with a beach club and access directly to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and cafes are within a short walk along JBR. Every single member of staff that we encountered during our stay provided the highest level of service which really made our stay extra special. A particular mention for our room cleaner Aman who was extremely attentive and gave us everything we needed. The only thing holding us back from a 10 star experience was that the beds at the pool area were all occupied by people leaving their towel there at 9 am and sometimes not returning until 11am which was a small but frustrating. There was also a lot of families with kids in the hotel which slightly doesn’t fit in with the ambiance of the hotel as it made the pool area almost like a kids club rather than a beach club. Overall we loved the experience of spending our honeymoon at the Rixos and would certainly consider coming back in the future

A very busy modern skyscraper hotel with a fast city vibe, but still staff managed to be attentive at reception, provided a room with a better view. Stylish modern rooms with fast room service (Pinku on our floor was very helpful & fast with cleaning the room). A large pool with Saturday RnB pool parties and a private beach are the best on JBR beach. An exquisite Godiva cafe is the jewel of the hotel with live music. I only wish the breakfast area was more comfortable - it's extremely cold there & I had to wear wool sweaters & pants to survive there each morning. Because of the freezing air there we had no wish to try juices, fruits and anything cold - I saw many people suffering from cold there. Also breakfast area has no views outside, just a freezer with no windows... The only positive side of breakfast were the waiters - very helpful, fast, friendly.

I am ALL platinum member and living in their 2 bed suite for 4 nights. ( Room 3308 ) I cannot find a word to express my anger and disappointment towards this hotel and their management . It was supposed to be a premium / luxury and prestige experience but totally ruined by the staff , and their management. If you are a family with kids and want to enjoy some private time in the pool and throughout the night , PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL. and you also have to prepare to be insulted by their staff ( especially front desk ) LOUD music until 1am that you can't bear Breakfast like a hawker center with ppl using their hand to grab the food A mixture of hotel guest that they don't bother social distance, manner and respect Beach club that you can see people from outside ( YES, outsider ) to enjoy the activities, smoking and drinking without any boundaries Room - carpet wore out , second room is too small, bed like Travelodge I just quite regret that I have chosen Rixos - I think they want to try their best but still below the par

We stayed at Rixos Premium JBR for the second time with my family. We had a superb time out there, thanks to a great team. A very special thanks to the best concierge worldwide, Sufyan. He assisted us when planning to come till booking our room. He arranged our car transfers, ask me before arrival were should we book a table for lunch or dinner, always suggesting the best place to be in Dubai. Thanks to that, we were able to have a table everywhere we wished to go. He truly always did his very best in any thing he assisted us for. Thanks to his high sens of service and his undeniable professionalism, we were beyond happy as he really made our holidays perfect !! We will sure come again !

The facilities are very good - lots of restaurants, shopping, fitness, relaxation and entertainment options. Staff were very accommodating. The room was nice - clean and large with good views. The water pressure in the room however was too weak. Despite this, I will certainly be back.

Pros: *fantastic location *beautiful spa with great massages, especially Analy *great service in the hotel, especially Sandy *very good breakfast with lots of choice *received upgrade to premium room as a platinum member. Room had an amazing view. Rooms are large. *concierge booked us an excellent restaurant *had a complimentary late checkout *had a very clean room thanks to Hanikandan Cons: *we wanted a pickup at the airport. This did not happen. It was such a disappointment when we arrived in the middle of the night. No compensation was offered *no available chairs by the pool. People put towels early in the morning. This is not ok for a 5 star hotel *given a twin room as a single guest. I would have preferred a king bed. If the hotel works on these small issues, it could be an amazing hotel and go from a 4 rating to a 5

Very dissapointing

Rooms were excellent; but that was the only good thing during our stay: - no social distancing rules, Pool is overly crowded. -people drink and smoke shisha while they are inside the pool. This is unacceptable if you position yourself as a family friendly hotel. Kids cannot be in the same pool with these people. -random people calling randomly in the middle of the night - 1,3,5 am. Probably they want to party. We have 2.5 year old kids and they kept waking up. - we order watermelon and they said it is finished. After 10 minutes we saw plates of watermelon passing by. When we asked, the waiter said he just joined today. -service was too slow -we ordered meatballs with pasta from kids menu. Meatballs were burnt. - cheese and olives were very bad quality. We won’t stay there again unfortunately.

Bad Service, too crowded

service is bad for both breakfast and pool area. rooms smelling like a box of cigarettes (we booked non smoking) lock stock is nice though allover definately not a 5 star hotel and no comparison to mandarin, al qasr or similar. compared to sofitel its worse but even higher priced.
