My stay at Raffles Jakarta was one of the highlights of my trip. Visiting this hotel was one of the main reasons I planned my Jakarta itinerary, and it fully met my expectations. I stayed in the Artist Suite, and from the moment I entered, it felt less like a hotel room and more like staying inside a piece of art. The space was generous, well-designed, and very comfortable. The living area was especially relaxing, and I often found myself simply enjoying the view without feeling the need to go out. The bedroom, located on the corner with windows on both sides, offered excellent natural light and a great sense of openness. The bed and linens were very comfortable, allowing for a restful sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful details, such as the welcome amenities and the jewelry box placed on the desk. The bathroom was another highlight, featuring a bathtub by the window with a city view. Although I needed to use the blinds for privacy at times, the overall design and comfort were excellent. What stood out the most was the service. The staff were highly professional, attentive, and thoughtful throughout my stay. The butler service via WeChat was prompt and efficient, and small touches such as the handwritten card during turndown and the note from housekeeping added a warm and personal touch. I also appreciated the flexibility provided, including early check-in, late check-out, and the thoughtful arrangement of afternoon tea after check-out, which made my departure day much more comfortable. As a Platinum member, I had access to the Raffles Club. The breakfast was good overall. Afternoon tea was enjoyable, although the savory items remained the same each day, while the desserts did change. The happy hour selection at the Raffles Club was slightly underwhelming. While the hot food options were decent, I felt that the experience could be improved by offering a small à la carte menu—even just one or two options would make a noticeable difference. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and I would gladly return in the future.

Hotel cuts corners on offerings at breakfast and Raffles Club. Very limited fruit offerings. Canapés taste bad at Club and feel very cheap. Raffles used to be best ALL hotel in Jakarta but not anymore. Unfortunately it is still the most expensive so I will not return.

We started off slightly on the wrong foot with a small cockroach in the room which was professionally dealt with as we saw a pest buster come along which gave us much assurance it was likely a blip. Subsequent checks by the staff also helped to soothe our feelings on this. Otherwise, we think the cleanliness and housekeeping were excellent and some nice touches such as topping up what we used more of and some creative towel origami displays was cute. The room upgrade which we did not even have to ask was also a very nice touch and it did make us feel very welcomed and grateful for. The service overall from everyone was great and we would like to mention Kevin, Ciki and the exec lounge team for making our stay even more memorable. Kevin for taking extra effort to make sure we got our food exactly the way we like it and always checking to ensure food was arriving and sharing with us his tips for Jakarta trips. Ciki for providing a most interesting art and history tour of the hotel which gave us a better appreciation of the hotel. The exec lounge team were excellent and remembered our dining and drinking preferences very well and also worked with the kitchen to prepare the sate sticks without sauces every day knowing our preference for non greasy food. Overall an excellent stay.
