The front desk surprised us by upgrading both my mother’s room and ours to Artist Suites, and we were completely blown away. The suites were beautiful, incredibly functional, and thoughtfully designed, and the welcome chocolates were delicious. The layout was perfect, the flow was truly incredible. If we could have, we would happily have stayed longer. The room was beautifully decorated and aesthetically stunning. We also loved the butler service and the range of services and options outlined in the in-room book; it made the stay feel especially thoughtful and complete. The direct connection to the hotel was very convenient, and breakfast was delicious. Our only small observation was that the weekday breakfast selection seemed more limited than on the weekend, which was a little disappointing after seeing the broader weekend offering. Overall, it was a truly memorable stay for our family.

From the moment I made the booking, the team at Raffles Jakarta were incredibly proactive and helpful with planning my stay including helping to arrange airport taxis, a tour of Jakarta and spa bookings. During the stay there were very attentive, caring and made my stay very comfortable indeed. The restaurant was also great and the Arts cafe staff were so nice. However, the waiting staff should stop talking to customers whilst they are eating, and avoid offering to shake hands (for hygiene purposes). Overall, an excellent stay though.

Perfect location in Ciputra Mall, beautiful room, great service

I booked a room to celebrate my anniversary and have informed the hotel at least 2 times, along with the request if possible to have a corner room. But when I checked in, I was told that my room is a connecting room, which also not a corner room since it's very near to the elevator. I asked for another room and told that it would take around 15 minutes to prepare the room, but after more than 40 minutes it's still not ready yet, and I was told that they would need 20 more minutes to prepare the room. Honestly speaking, this is the worst experience that I have ever faced in a 5-star hotel. There was not even a single hint of decoration for my anniversary, which is very concerning considering my Platinum status. Years ago, I also stayed in this hotel for anniversary (with silver status), but I got at least the decorated towel and petals of roses on the bed. On the good side, the room was clean and comfortable, with a good sound system and very comfortable bathtub. The warm toilet seat is also a plus. Unfortunately the shower water temperature was not too stable.

Best Staff ! Best trained staff! Geniune warm hospitality! Excellent Service from reception, housekeeping, restaurant, swimming Pool, and Royal Host for the Art tour. F&B fantastic like everytime. For me the best breakfast quality and taste in Jakarta. Butcher’s Night like everytime fantastic. Highest apprecciate the hard working staff, and thank You very much! Perfect in Every Way – An Exceptional Stay Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and exceptionally well looked after. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable, and maintained to the highest standard. The service was outstanding throughout our entire stay – professional, attentive, friendly, and always delivered with a smile. Every member of staff made us feel like valued guests. The food was excellent, the atmosphere wonderful, and the attention to detail truly impressive. Everything was handled with care and professionalism. It is rare to find a hotel where everything comes together so perfectly – accommodation, service, cleanliness, food, and hospitality. We could not have asked for a better experience. A truly exceptional hotel and an easy 10/10. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect stay.

Ww had a wonderful stay at Raffles Jakarta. The hotel is connecting to a shopping mall, staff were amazing, food and drink at the lounge and the resto was superb. Overall, had a wonderful and enjoyable stay at Raffles Jakarta.

Lovely room, housekeeping very good, swift & efficient. Pool bar staff, especially Calvin were brilliant. Although the gentleman who checked us in was nice, we felt the check in was rushed . Room service menu really good , surprised at the portion size, very good value. A bit of confusion with regards to the Jazz evening light bite & cocktail offer, however this was quickly sorted out.We had asked for a later check out , which was offered FOC for an extra hour and a half , which was great . However our flight was delayed by an extra 3 hours and 50 minutes, we noticed there were rooms available on the website for that day. We asked if we could have the room until 17.30/18.00 hours, firstly we were told someone else was coming at 3 , we asked for any room ,just to make the last day more comfortable, we were then offered the room for the extra 4 & a half hours for 50% of the daily room rate . Which cost 2 million IDR, we had taken all of our meals at lunch and in the evening,along with drinks,beers and wines , throughout our stay at the hotel, so in all honesty we did think this was an excessive amount to charge for a few hours . The cake and the lovely note from the Butlers for our anniversary was a lovely gesture . Thank you

This is my second stay in Raffles Jakarta. I have visited them multiple times for the meals and the restaurant, but this is the longest stay that I have had, which is just about two days. I have definitely always had a better and more enjoyable experience staying in Raffles. I would like to thank Andika, who was my driver from Whoosh Station to the Raffles Hotel. I was greeted with professionalism and friendliness from him, and I had a very enjoyable and smooth ride to the hotel. As I checked in late, I was pleasantly surprised that I was greeted with a very kind and heartwarming lady, Erica, who greeted me and guided me to my room, and we had the room check-in. The process was very seamless and fast. There wasn't much friction, and she kindly went through the benefits and facilities of the room with me, as it has been some time since I came to this hotel. Throughout my stay, I interacted with all the concierge people and the doorman who are always ready to help me with whatever I need in Jakarta. I would like to thank Rudolf, who carefully took care of my package that was sent to the hotel, even reminding me that I had a package because I totally forgot. The dining crew that was there on Wednesday night, when I had a dinner that went past the 9 p.m. closing time of the restaurant, were still there and treated me with respect. I was able to do my agenda without much rushing for time. Along the way, I also talked with people like Zul and multiple other concierge associates who were always entertaining me and helping me with my questions about the conditions in Jakarta as I was planning to take a flight on the day of a very eventful national agenda. I didn't get all the names of the people I met, but everyone that was on duty that day, I probably have talked to them. I would like to give my appreciation to these associates that they treated me like a family member that is staying in their own home. My whole stay was very enjoyable, and I will definitely be back for the next time. Location as well is perfect because I had to go to Block M, and there is an MRT station nearby. I just took a Grabbike ride to the MRT, went down to Block M, and back to the hotel. It takes around 30 minutes each trip, so this is really a huge win for anyone who is trying to be very accessible in Jakarta without getting restricted by the traffic. Even though it is close to the GBK Stadium, where I had an enjoyable morning run, it wasn't far. It's probably a 15-minute bike ride away, and I will already be back in the hotel for my breakfast. The food is amazing. I have eaten all four options: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the brunch. For every trip, actually, I always have my meat platter for dinner because it is one of the best meats that you can find in Jakarta. Even for the breakfast, steak and eggs are my favorite. The lunch rendang with the beef steak is also my new favorite. Now, if you are someone who has a good palate for food and meat and you would like to have a taste of Indonesian cuisine, Raffles has the Arts Cafe. Raffles completely raises the standard for all to follow.

It was a great experience overall, aside from a minor connectivity issue where the room phone and Wi-Fi were not working overnight. Other than that, I really enjoyed the facilities and the convenient location.

I had the privilege to stay at a few similar hotels in Jakarta, and I have to say, Raffles Jakarta exceeded not only my expectation but most of the hotels I stayed in when it comes to its room, amenities, and the hotel staff hospitality. I was only let down just a tiny bit with my dining experience at the Arts Cafe. When I arrived at the restaurant, the staffs at the reception were very hospitable and welcoming. The servers were all very nice as well. The meal was great, my only complaint about the food was that the tenderloin was just a bit too hard to chew on. Taste wise, everything was seasoned nicely. When I walked out of the restaurant, there were two staffs at the reception, but they didn’t bid me farewell or say thank you for dining at the restaurant (I assume they were occupied with something else). Then again, it was not a big deal, just want to point out some areas where Raffles can improve a bit more. The other area where Raffles can improve is of course the soundproofing of the room. I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me at all. But my mom was a light sleeper so she was woken up a few times during the night due to the road noises. Another area in which I was not entirely satisfied with is the facilities. The gym didn’t really have a wide variety in its equipment and can feel quite limited for advanced gym goers. The sauna wasn’t as good as other hotels within the same price point and location. But I have to give credit to the staffs at the spa/sauna, which were all very welcoming. All in all, my stay at Raffles was a very comfortable one, the interior doesn’t feel very outdated and the layout was very beautifully planned and designed. The hospitality I received from the hotel staffs was almost on par with my favorite hotel in Jakarta, despite a tiny mishap. I’d definitely consider staying at Raffles Jakarta once again in the near future.

Always a lovely stay with wonderful staff, but a couple of things let it down this time. The aircon made an annoying hissing sound and didn't cool properly, and my room key stopped working, leaving me stuck in a friend's room for a bit. Hoping these get sorted for next time!

Great upgrade to Signature Room, Raffles Club staff and super warm, welcoming and friendly. Nice pool area and great location next to mall.

Beyond the inconvenient location, an all around pleasant hotel. Nice rooms and facilities, amazing f&b.
