Above and Beyond: My Exceptional Stay at Raffles Jakarta

From the moment I arrived at Raffles Jakarta, everything felt seamless and personal. As soon as I stepped through the entrance, the team greeted me by name, recognized my Platinum status, and invited me to check in at the Level 12 lounge. I was escorted upstairs by Stacy, who casually asked about my wife and daughter. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but it turned out to be the start of a very thoughtful surprise. At the lounge, Kevin handled the check-in process and informed me that I had been upgraded all the way to the Gallery Suite, even though I had booked the lowest room category. Such a generous surprise. While settling in, Eto offered drinks and snacks with a warm, friendly attitude that immediately made the lounge feel comfortable. The Gallery Suite itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. That evening, I had a dinner invitation at Arts Café, and every dish was genuinely delicious. When I returned to the room after dinner, I found a soft toy and a handwritten note addressed to my daughter. It was such a sweet gesture. Thank you to Butler Oshel and of course to Stacy for arranging it. The next morning, I chose to have breakfast at Arts Café instead of the lounge so I could eat with my relatives. The food was surprisingly very good. It was much better than my visit in October 2024, and everything I ordered was excellent. Jojo helped with several à la carte dishes and took great care of us. Toward the end of the meal, Gio, the restaurant manager, stopped by to check how everything was, which added to the warm impression. I actually had to leave earlier than planned. If not, I’m sure they would have offered a late checkout as well, considering how consistently attentive the service had been from the moment I arrived. Overall, Raffles Jakarta delivered a truly outstanding hospitality experience. From the upgrade to the personal touches and the genuine warmth from every staff member, everything felt special. Definitely will come again.

everything is good but there is a small cockroach in the room

Raffles Spa: I have been treated like a King in the Spa at Raffles Jakarta. Especially Mury my therapist has been very professional and comforting. Great treatment. And Nurul the receptionist greeted me with a great drink and a well deserved cold towel, very professional and quick check in. Truly 5 🌟

Was in the room where noise from the aircon vent was loud. Stayed a total of 3 nights. Told the hotel noise from central aircon vent at bedroom was loud. Fixed the second night but noise returned on 3rd night. So, for a total of 3 nights, 2 were such that one could it sleep under the noise. The room also faced the main roads and road noise was loud. I am not a very sensitive to noise person but the room given was really bad from the noise regard.
