From the moment I stepped out of my Grab, I could already feel the warmth and enthusiasm of the staff. During the check-in process, Service Manager Rhany’s passion for her work was clearly evident. Beyond explaining the standard procedures required by the SOP, she took the time to share many things she is proud of about working at Raffles Jakarta after learning about my family’s background in the hospitality industry. She also shared many of her own experiences and stories. I truly appreciated the way she interacted with guests—friendly, genuine, and professional. The room facilities go without saying—they were excellent. I especially loved the bathrobe with local character; it was truly one of my favorite details. While the breakfast selection may not be as extensive as that of St. Regis, it was exceptionally refined, which pleasantly surprised me. The inclusion of Japanese sashimi and an à la carte menu—particularly the steak, which was outstanding—made the experience extremely satisfying. In Jakarta, I have stayed at Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, St. Regis, and Ritz-Carlton. Among them, Raffles stands out as the hotel whose service and attention to detail have impressed me the most so far. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience. As a alumni of Cornell University, one of the world’s most renowned institutions for hospitality management, I can genuinely say that you are doing an outstanding job.

Exceptional Club Lounge

As a frequent business traveler, I appreciate a well-organized Executive Lounge. The Raffles Club was a pleasant experience, with no children, no one using phone speakers, and well-mannered guests enjoying excellent food and drinks. Afternoon tea, a la carte breakfast, and a cocktail hour that rivals fine dining. The staff - Fahmi, Rahni, and so many others - made it a special stay. The room and other amenities are likewise exceptional, but I would return just for the Club!
