This was my third stay. The quality of the food was excellent, and the service provided by the restaurant staff was also outstanding, making it a very memorable experience. However, although I booked a plan that included a room upgrade and late check-out, neither of these benefits was provided. My room was on a low floor facing the city side, and the noise from the road was extremely loud throughout the day. Especially at night, it was loud enough to wake me up several times. In addition, when I requested a late check-out, I felt that the attitude of the reception staff was somewhat cold and dismissive. Also, although I ordered a welcome drink at check-in, it was never delivered to my room. (It only arrived after I called later that night to inquire about it.) Furthermore, my room key card stopped working during my stay. My previous stays had been wonderful and truly worthy of the Raffles name, but this time was somewhat disappointing. Since there are many other excellent hotels in Jakarta, this experience makes me reconsider where I should stay next time.

I visited Raffles, Accor's top-tier property, with considerable expectation. Room upgraded to Accor Platinum member, early check-in. Late check-out rejected. The room was great, just like Raffles. The friendly Butler explained the room as well. Additional facilities such as swimming pools and gyms were also good. However, the Raffles club did not live up to expectations. The evening cocktail time was unsatisfactory. Raffles can often be compared to rival Marriott's Ritz-Carlton. However, Raffles Club's Evening Cocktail ran with too few menus. In the past, I heard that Raffles Club also had a lot of great menus. However, it is currently operated with only four types of hot foods, and only a small number of finger foods. Even if we raise the price, I hope we can get good quality like in the past. I don't know if the employees of the Raffles club also fit the name Raffles. Except for the employees who checked in or some employees, the details seemed to be a little lacking. I visited Ritz-Carlton afterwards and felt some difference. I don't know if I will visit Raffles Jakarta next time. Even if the price rises a little, I think I will consider revisiting if the disappointing parts improve.
