I was in Jakarta on business from Canada and I had a wonderful experience while staying at the Mercure. The room was fantastic and had everything I needed. My laptop worked and I was able to do some work on the desk in the room which was perfect. The food was very good every day that I was there! Such a huge selection and so many different flavors, it was all so wonderful!! Seriously delicious. Everyday. So good! I was able to use the pool which was very nice and comfortable. The gym was really good and had lots of different equipment to use which I really like! I had a fantastic stay and I would love to stay there again the next time I'm in the area. Thank you!

When lunch time, in the restaurant seems like crowded, we cant find way to sit, and take our lunch nicely. Some advice for mercure, calculate ur guests for another else convenince

Clean room but need to be reviewed

The room was clean and nice, however the room’s equipment need to be reviewed, especially for hair dryer, it was a small voltage dryer (400 watt) and very slow, for women it’s not nice - took more time to drying the hair and didn’t look like a 4* equipment. The bed said as double bed but actually it’s twin sharing combined to one.

The room is nicely decorated and well equipped. However, the services are not so great. Take very long time to check in and the room service are not quite detailed when cleaning the room.

Three weeks in Jakarta

This is my second stay here as I was here in Nov/Dec which was my first visit. With my office across the road in K-Link Tower, the Mercure Gatot Subroto is a perfect location for me. Bizarrely, my booking for this trip didn't work out as confirmed with the front desk in December. My room had been given to someone else but I was upgraded to a suite but only for the first night (a Tuesday) so I asked could I change rooms on the Saturday but this wasn't approved. Once in 2418 I found that the USB charging port wasn't working. Maintenance came and found it was because there was no cable on the other side but they went and got one to install. Even then the USB port only works when the TV is turned on. All of the staff here are so committed to ensure my stay here is satisfactory and this is really appreciated. It's a shame that smokers are so well catered for with having an exclusive lounge area for them, clearly a non-smoker like me is in the minority here. This is quite unusual in my experience. I've had dinner in the hotel on several nights but find the menu a bit limited. I often eat Asian food but it would be nice to see pizza being available or chicken in the basket for example. There are generally always Bluebird taxies available which is convenient. The laundry service is efficient and housekeeping always keep my room looking good. I'd asked for a copy of the Coronovirus leaflet on display for a military training course I'm running next week but this wasn't approved sadly. I only wanted the cartoon strip across the middle to use to illustrate the signs and symptoms. Vanny on the front desk is always polite and friendly and always talks, but most of the staff are the same. The security outside the front door seems a bit strange as people just by-pass the screening arch anyway. I'm happy to highly recommend this hotel and I consider it one of the best run mercure Hotels I've used. Terima Kasih Banyak PS - Ive now handed two drinks vouchers back because Bir Bintang isn't offered under the voucher scheme.

I like this hotel, the reception so really elegant and remember my name. Thanks for free upgrade with great view to North Jakarta city. Breakfast ok but service at resto should be more live and fast. New Accor Hotel in Jakarta that I found at website. Service ok, breakfast ok but no sausage, and good room with city view. Small lobby but check in very fast . The gym and pool on the high floor really nice and comfortable enough. Sometimes traffic jam but nearby exit tol and needs 40 minutes only to international Airport.
