I enjoy the experience from the start. Check in was efficient and the reception at that time tried to accommodate to my requests. Which was a nice thing to experience. Check out process was quick. We got stranded in Indonesia due to the volcano eruption. But the team displayed genuine empathy and wanted to help with all they can. Truly world class hospitality!

Overall, an excellent stay at Fairmont Jakarta. Spacious rooms, comfy bed, nice showers, nice view, and decent breakfast. A couple of things to improve would be 1) my room was very cold even if I turned up the temperature on AC, 2) a service staff opened the door even when I hanged the "do not disturb" sign (I figured it was an "innocent" accident as it happened only once), and 3) the Adhan (the Islamic call to prayer) woke me up every morning at 4 a.m., and I understand it's a muslim country and respect that, but better soundproofing would be ideal.

As a Platinum member, my room was upgraded to a suite. It was nice since I didn’t get any during my previous stay last year. Welcome amenity was also provided. There was also a cute & welcoming mirror art inside the bedroom.
The room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, but the TV in the living room needs to be upgraded since it’s a bit old. At night, the motorcycle sounds from the streets were very loud and honestly disturbed our sleeping quality despite the use of earplugs. Breakfast buffet could still be improved in my opinion.
Aside from that, everything was great. We especially loved the bathroom & the shower amenity (although some water was leaking from the showerhead cable). The staffs were also professional and helpful. The gym, pool, and spa were excellent. Overall I would definitely come back for another staycation, and recommend my friends & colleagues! :)
