This is my second stay here. I was kind of not impressed during my first stay. However when I arrived from Fairmont, a lady Lobby Ambassador assisted me up to to the Gold Lounge. Fortunately I was handled by Ms. Evelyn on the checkin process. She was very proffesional on the whole process. She escorted me to my room and followed by a brief hotel tour. I went to my room after that and sneak up to enjoy their afternoon tea. Ms Cynthia was warm and smiley. She served me drinks and set of pastries. I had a good canapy too and was fascinated with their daily change of foods based from Japanese to Italian and so on and so forth. There are more warmth and life within the Gold Lounge especially when I observed Ms Gisela actively entertaining guests and assisting every corners wherever needed.. On the day before I checked out, Ms Yolanda spoke with me. She is nice yo iron out all my bad feeling towards the hotel. I have promised to come back as long as Ms Cynthia, Ms Evelyn and Ms Yolanda are still with the hotel. They represented the 8 points that I marked for my stay. To me, Ms beautiful Cynthia and Ms. Charming Evelyn really managed the Lounge like Gold. Well done girls

The hotel is so big, can be difficult to find a staff member to help you. The room was beautiful, yet very old. I was upgraded, thank you. Tania and Dea on reception were fantastic. No pool drinks service. Bar doesn’t open until 5pm, unfortunately people were smoking cigars, which is so outdated and quite gross for the staff and a non smoker. Rooftop bar opens at 6pm, very beautiful! Overall I’d describe the stay as comfortable, yet soulless.
