Room, service and food was great. Just upgrade the air conditioner in the common area because it feels a little bit hot, but nevertheless was a great stay.

Good stay but not for the room

Some issues with room 1126 : 1. We were at Novotel Cikini just for transit as we had to continue our journey that night. We have three big pieces of luggage with us and two cabin baggage, and we travelled with a 4 years old. We tried to call reception twice to request assistance with our luggage, asking for the trolley to bring our luggage down from the 11th floor to the lobby floor. We call twice but the reception/guest service could not hear us. I think that the telephone is broken in room 1126. We can hear the reception/guest service keep saying hello hello what can I help you with, but unable to hear a word I am speaking. So we ended up bringing all the luggage on our own without a trolley. 2. The sink (wastafel) pipe in the bathroom was leaking 3. The main shower button is not working. It is broken and fallen out of place. So we only have the option using the small shower I think for an Accor member, I should have to get a better room, but I don't complain as I was in transit from one journey to another. Regardless, the room should be better.

Smooth check in and check out. Excellent service by the front desk staff. Excellent language proficiency both in local and English language. Warm and personable. This includes the bell service and the security staff. As Accor Plus Gold member I was upgraded to a suite which comes with evening refreshments. Room was spacious and clean. Great view of Cikini. Bed and pillows are great with clean linen. Good temperature and water pressure in the shower . Complete amenities. Good selection of local & international TV channels. Breakfast was excellent in terms of taste and selection. Had dinner too and the local selections were great and very tasty. The dinning room staff were excellent. Personable and very professional. Enjoyed my overall stay as always. Have stayed at the hotel repeatedly for several years now. Love it!!!!
