I spoke with one of the kitchen team members during breakfast and requested a bowl of porridge without salt. However, based on the way the team member responded, it seemed they were reluctant to accommodate my request, which made me feel uncomfortable. I also noticed that your F&B Manager witnessed the interaction, but unfortunately, no assistance or intervention was offered. As a guest, I believe that reasonable dietary requests should be handled with a more positive and accommodating attitude. I hope this feedback can be used to improve the level of service and guest experience in the future. I also requested in advance for a room key to be provided to my sibling, as I knew I would be arriving later. I had already submitted my sibling’s identification to the hotel the day before for verification. However, when my sibling arrived, the Front Desk refused to issue the room key. I had to immediately contact the Reservations team, and only after my message did they authorize the key to be released. As a result, my family was left waiting unnecessarily. I understand the importance of maintaining security procedures, but since the required identification had already been provided and the arrangement had been communicated in advance, I expected the process to be handled more smoothly. This experience was disappointing and caused unnecessary inconvenience for my family.

Novotel Cikini is in the perfect location for exploring the historic Menteng area on foot. Our modern room was incredibly comfortable for our 4-night stay, and the housekeeping team was extremely efficient, doing a flawless job every single day. The breakfast buffet is of decent quality with an impressive selection of different cuisines to start the morning. I particularly recommend trying the traditional Indonesian herbal drinks and the freshly made fried noodle and rice station! What truly sets this property apart from all competitors in the city, however, is its staff. I want to give a big shout-out to two outstanding team members who truly embody the soul of hospitality: Duty Manager Mr. Arie: Excellent in ALL member and Heartist recognition. He was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, detail-oriented, and took complete ownership of following through on all requests. I especially appreciated him proactively introducing the hotel's Green Key sustainability initiatives upon our arrival. Ms. Wayan from the restaurant: She is incredibly warm and friendly. She has a brilliant memory for guest preferences, gave excellent recommendations, and went above and beyond to provide personalized, anticipatory service. Both of them are incredible assets to the hotel. Thank you to the entire team, and I look forward to returning!
