Well located on an area with an interesting hype, quite close to small metro station and a 10min walk from another metro station (in this case a well connected one - Place d'Italie), from there you can conveniently reach any part of Paris; easily connected to the Orly airport. Rooms are spacious though very simple with only a few commodities. The WC is small and without shelves. The breakfast is quite good for an ibis, including freshly squeezed orange juice. People are friendly and the hotel is clean. The area around seems quite safe, with bars, restaurants and convenience stores available. A 2min walk takes you to a a very good street market that happens at least on Fridays and Sundays - fruits, flowers, cheese, meat, fish, even oysters are available (but there is no fridge on your room, I'm afraid to say). Also, a big shopping mall at place d'Italie is available plus many small local shops. The only negative point - when it rained, my room (210) was haunted by a drop falling every 3 seconds, the entire night. Quite disrupting - luckily it only rained one night.

This hotel does not provide a kettle nor a mini fridge. Someone entered my room and took my hotel keycard. The first morning, housekeeping banged on the door 5 times until about 1 pm. I arrived around midnight the night before and didn't get proper rest from all the noise. Very annoying. Also the shower stall was the size of a closet.

The staff at this hotel are amazing, always welcoming and helpful. We return to this location often and feel very comfortable. We would not stay anywhere else.
