ibis Paris Place d'Italie 13th Hotel 3 stars

Nice quiet hotel 5-10 minutes walk from the Metro station at Place d'Italie. Getting to the hotel is easy, either Metro Line 5 direct from Gare du Nord, or RER Line B from Charles de Gaulle airport to Denfert Rochereau and then Metro Line 6, both arriving at the Metro station in the Place d'Italie. If you want to explore Paris then the Metro is the way to do it, or if you have a Paris Visite pass, bus and Metro (you see more on the bus).

good but no television during 2 days out of 3, I did inform the receptionist but the matter has not been solved. The breakfast was good and often refilled, nevertheless the fruits salad was not fresh. Bed is very comfortable and the room clean

Room was comfortable enough with window to alley. No air conditioning available this time of the year which I find unreasonable. Front desk personnel helpful, specially Sarah. Would go back again. Good location close to Metro station.

This trip was four days in Paris; my official business one day, sightseeing and education tour in Paris and Rouen then finished with shopping. I found the hotel gave me convenience links to all my purposes with fast mass communication; metro, trains and buses. If you wish to sharp your French language and history of their heroes together with Renaissance influences, then you may find the identity you are.

I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel is close to the metro and on a direct line to stops for the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay. My travel time was minimal, giving me more time to spend in the galleries and seeing the sights of Paris. Good variety of bars and restaurants near the hotel if you do not want to explore further.

Very good location with easy access to public transport, and nice and clean hotel. Room was too warm during the night and had to keep the window open, which resulted in some noise, though not such a big problem.

I always stay at Accor hotels because they have very good disabled access, this hotel was no exception. Staff were friendly, breakfasts were good, lots of accessible buses in easy reach at Place d'italie, and much quieter here than in the city centre.

This Ibis is in a convenient location just off Place d'Italie, where there is a good metro link to the city centre. The rooms are well decorated and modern, with lots of plugs ( which you don't always get in older Ibis hotels). By booking well in advance, the price was very good for a Paris hotel. There was a good choice at breakfast, continental in style, but with extras such as eggs and fresh fruit. The staff were extremely helpful. We had the car, so the secure underground parking at the hotel was a real bonus.

The service was excellent. Although the room was small, it was nevertheless comfortable. The Hotel is located in a calm street, a two minutes walk from the metro station and 5 minutes from a huge shopping center and restaurants.

The quality of the hotel room was very good in terms of cleanliness and layout - very comfortable. The only thing missing from these rooms is a kettle, Tea and Coffee making facilities. Everything else including extra pillows, hair dryer, Air conditioner and heating system is provided. The room was also kept clean by staff without the need for request. The staff are polite, friendly and available 24 hours a day. I would recommend going out for food as there are some affordable options in the area for breakfast and dinner. The location of this hotel is great, there is a nearby affordable Asian Supermarket within 5 minutes walk, and an affordable general supermarket within 10 minutes walk near Les Gobelins. There are countless East Asian restaurants, french restaurants and popular fast food chains such as McDonalds etc within a short walk. There is also a high level shopping centre named ITALIE DEUX within a short walk at Place d'Italie, which provides every food, technology and commerce service. The Metro station Place d'Italie is within 5 minutes walk which provides fast links to the main attractions in Paris.

Nice Ibis hotel in quiet side-street, not far from tubestations Place d'Italie and Nationale. 15 minutes walk to the Asian quarter at Avenue d'Ivry et Avenue de Choisy. Since the hotel is not so big, breakfast is not overcrowded which makes it more enjoyable to start the day.

This is my third time in an Ibis, and I generally enjoy staying in these hotels. They're cheap, comfortable, clean and exactly what I need. Unfortunately, there were two mornings where I was woken up by frighteningly loud construction happening in a room nearby. It was so close it sounded like it was in my room. I don't believe I was warned of this before booking my reservation. One morning it was around 9 and the other around 8. This isn't terribly early, but when you're on vacation and trying to sleep in, it's quite disruptive. I'd still recommend Ibis, but was really frustrated with my experience this time around.

Great Staff...very helpful...location is close to metro. I enjoyed my stay ambiance wise. Rooms can get a little bid cleaner And at earlier times if hotel invests in increasing cleaning staff number. Overall I would recommend staying there value for money and nice people.

Spent a long weekend with family (spouse + 1 child). The hotel si really affordable, reasonably close to the center (about 15min by bus) and very close to a metro station. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. A few decent restaurants within walking distance. It is still an "old style" Ibis (i.e. carpet on the floor instead of wood, etc.). Only french channels on the TV (foreign ones were on the TV list, but were blank). In our room there wasn't a shower door, which is annoying as you are at risk of spraying the whole bathroom with water. The three bed room was not very spacious, even for Ibis standards. Breakfast in line with Ibis standards. Overall, a reasonable choice if you are on a budget but do not want to be very far from the center.

I love the bright and airy ambiance of the hotel. The toilet was surprisingly spacious for Paris standard, and laid out nicely. We got to the hotel before noon so the room wasn't ready yet as we expected. It's a short walk from the metro. We left our luggage in their holding area, and were given a tag for collection later. After going around the city for hours on foot, the bright and clean room was a welcome sight. It's a basic hotel, but the bed and pillows had a luxurious feel. There's a boulangerie around the corner which was really handy for breakfast. An éclair, croissant and some pain cost as much as a piece of laduree macaron. Really good value. There's also a plethora of café inside the Italy 2 shopping complex, and there's plenty of Asian themed restaurant along Avenue Choisy .
