Upon entering the room a bad odor was coming out of the toilet. The temperature outside was 32 C and the AC was not working properly. I set it on 16C, full fan but the room temperature was still 26 C after 6 hours. Upon calling reception he checked and shared it is working but wasn't able to cool the room so he provided a fan.

Strategically located at Place d'Italie (3 Metro lines). Good breakfast for France. Flat and sparkling water fountain in the lobby.

Comfortable but not extraordinary stay for the price. I am used to better quality in Mercure hotels. Room equipment was too minimalistic. Breakfast was ok, but personnel overloaded. Needed to ask for refill every day. The hotel had supply issues, e.g. ran out of cereals for muesli.
