During the online booking process I did not see that the form had reset itself to a different date than the one I chose. Immediately after accidentally confirming the booking for the wrong date (less than 1 minute later) I called the reservation line to try and correct the date. I was told that it was non-refundable but that I could pay a supplement to change the date and while I felt that was a little unfair, I accepted the decision. I received an email from the receptionist confirming the correct dates after I had given my card details to pay the supplement. The next day I received a different email from the Director and was told that I actually couldn't change my dates and had to pay in full again. He was very curt and unreasonable and had no sense of customer service, kindness or even basic manners.
