Efficient, clean, no bad surprises, breakfast was good. No kettle in bedroom, but free coffee and tea in Lobby. Was embarrassed by a fellow Brit stopping others getting to the bread whilst he made lunch for four persons, very rude.

Lovely comfortable family stay

Booked a family room for one overnight stay en-route back from the alps from a weeks skiing. Lovely hotel, warm welcome. Great family room with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was great also with wide variety and the kids loved using the fresh OJ machine! We really appreciated the complimentary tea/coffee/water in reception after a long drive and the kids loved the goody bags. Location was central, underground parking was 8 Euro extra but happy to pay for ease and peace of mind as it is a central location. This meant we could have a lovely wander round the town and meal out close by. I would definitely use again and the Ibis Styles chain.

Enjoyed a short overnight stay en route home and we were able to very comfortably rest our travel weary heads. All staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hotel and rooms modern, comfy and clean. Set in the middle of the pretty town of Châlons, it was a lovely location. And a great varied breakfast too!

Billing issues

There is a billing issue that has not been solved yet, despite the fact I’m calling the hotel every day (almost during the whole week) receiving always the same answer, “we will send you an invoice with the difference to your e-mail account” Background I paid 332,76 € (I shoudn't pay, because my company pays directly) They return -330,56€ to my account (2.2 difference) They charge me 2.2€ more for local taxes (I think they are charging me twice those 2.2) So, there are 4.4 € I paid for which I haven’t received any invoice. I know, the amount is insignificant; however the time spent chasing the invoice, without receiving the expected result, makes my experience a kind of ugly. Besides that, I have to say that I found a nice hotel, well located and I have always received a polite treatment from people at the hotel.

Hotel allnfine but the only welcome drink offered is beer or coca cola...not really up to expectations. In the room there is nowhere to plug in my hairdryer and there's no mirror. If I use the one in the bathroom it would take three days to dry my hair.

Hotel excellent. Spoilt by poor breakfast. No water in egg boiler. No yogurts. Not enough oranges in machine. When asked for more waitress only put a few in and the next people had no orange juice. Staff chatting not looking after guests.

Hadi and I had already exchanged a few emails, as I'd made a small mistake with my booking. When we arrived he greeted us, as though we'd been visiting the hotel many times. The room was spacious and clean, perfect for an overnight stay. Hadi directed us to an excellent Bistro nearby. Great night's sleep followed by a substantial breakfast of croissants and pain aud chocolat.
