The team at Ibis Epernay are the best in the business and make each stay like a return to a second home. I could not do my job in France as well as I do without their support.
poor booking system

Online booking system did not work, resulting in a cost increase. Staff was not very helpful. location of hotel is good. rooms are very basic, as can be expected of ibis.

We stayed at the Ibis in Epernay for a long weekend. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the old centre and within easy reach of the Ave Champagne on foot. Reception staff were pleasant and welcoming, rooms typical of Ibis with decorative touch more like Ibis Styles. Shower cubicle good and well sized. For travellers by train the rail station is about 10 minutes, 800 metres away on foot, for drivers there is municipal parking underneath the hotel. The car park is run by the town and claims to cost €9.00 per 24 hours, we thought that this was the maximum. We used the car park on 3 occasions spread over 4 days, on each occasion for less than 22 hours. We took a ticket on entrance and paid prior to exit. On each occasion we were charged €15.90. This is not a criticism of the hotel but a comment on the system employed by the town or of our misunderstanding of the system.
