A convenient stop over with good parking. However, hotel common parts dirty , room not much cleaner with blocked shower drain. Breakfast is good but dinner is poor and service very long owing to insufficient staff numbers.

Well located but not enjoyable this time

Second floor room was quiet at back of hotel but seemed extremely cramped compared with previous stays on first floor. Shower good and bed comfortable. Breakfast which is usually very good was particularly poor this time. Suspect it is due to poor staff or lack of staff. They were running out of everything and no one was about to check or top up. We could not hang around to get more supplies. The cheeseboard and s normally a highlight but not this time!

This site needs refurbishing

As a frequent passenger of Ibis hotels I would recommend refurbishing this aged site to regain Ibis standard, or then downgrade to Ibis Budget. It's unconsistent to keep calling this hotel a regular Ibis hotel, as it damages the rest of the sites supposedly at the same level.
