This property is extraordinary! A safe and lush haven in the business of Rio. Thank you to Rafaella for her exquisite care of us. Her service was top notch. Thank you also to Thiago for the service at dinner. The hotel is a refurbished coffee plantation and you feel the history in the walls.

Our five days in this beautiful, well maintained, warm & friendly hotel were so delightful we plan to visit again in the future! The hotel staff are all so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed to make our time spent there so nice. The spa is fabulous and I highly suggest booking treatments while you are there. We also really love that the town is such a short walk down the hill, you don’t feel like you have to take an Uber to go out for something to eat or drink. There are quite a few great places to eat in town and the locals are all so nice!! Thank you all so much for making our stay so enjoyable!!!!!!!

The service at breakfast was terrible. We had dirty cups, cutlery missing of the table, completely ignored a. our first breakfast we had to leave without food as it took so long. Very bad hospitality. The woman testing food in a white coat consently was extremely off putting a. we felt that it should have been done out of sight of customers, if at all. I have never seen this done in any other resturant in the world!! Resturant needs a good customer facing manager to train service staff properly.
