Had written me considered staying at Center. Theresa of ultimately decided that a beachfront hotel was more practical. When my return flight was canceled suddenly I found myself taking advantage of the proximity of to the airport. I only regret that I didn’t have more time. This gem of a hotel is full of historic character and modern comfort. Staff were warm, the rooms spacious and the views incomparable. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit lively at night full of twists and turns to explore, and with steep inclines and many stairways this literally is not for the faint of heart. But even if you’re ideally fit, the vistas will leave you breathless. I’ll be back.
