Positive: the personnel of the hotel is super friendly and helpful. The food offered many options for people without food restrictions and the prices of the buffet for the lunch was reasonable. The menu is really great. You can also access to both restaurants of the Ibis budget and Ibis hotel since they are next to each other. Finally, it’s a great location close to a lot of attractions in the center and the Sambodromo. Negative: the rooms are really old and the shower of my bathroom was full of small flies. The bed felt like it was about to break. Even though it was a comfortable room maybe with some renovations could have been better. Finally, I went with my fiancée and she is vegan. However, there no vegan options in any of the restaurants. Even though they have “Veggie burgers” in the menu, we asked for this twice (in different days) and they said they didn’t have it. So if you are vegan be aware that they probably will not have many options for you. Also, in the breakfast there is no soy or almond milk. PD: They offer you to change your room any time at your request.

Welcoming and helpful reception. Great to get an early chech in after overnight flight. Clean functional room with safe. Good basic food and exvellent breakfast served
