It was a big surprise for me, someone from staff, who i haven't idea, opened my room door at 22:20 without notice! Right away, i got the phone to call receptionist, so i asked why someone, without notice, just reach my door and open! For my BIG surprise, that recepcionist said (not friendly at all, i need to say) -- "it's normal, our staff is making check at some floors" -- but, I don't know about you, who's reading this message right now, but, I NEVER KNEW, that kind of service, at 22:20 without any notice! That's was my first time at IBIS SANTOS DUMONT RJ, and for sure will be the last one!

Everything was fine. We stayed here only 3-4 hours, arrived around midnight, smooth check in. We had to leave in 3,5 hours, but it was good to have some sleep before catching next flight, so we had 3 hours sleep, a shower and checked out. Perfect location if you are catching an early flight, but you have to take a taxi since it doesn't feel safe to walk around with bags (or without them) Be aware airport Santos Dumont opens first at 4am..

There was no food, beverage or anything else at the bar after that soccer gamer. I got to the hotel at 5:20pm, I checked online and I got an email saying that my key should’ve been ready, saving my time and no LINES. NO LINES! That was not true. There was no enough guys to assist customers, no information or at least empathy to help who was waiting there for 1 hour. Poor internet connection, and the ac was not working properly. By the way: on your behalf, put this thing right... “ Thank you for staying at our hotel. Your feedback will assist ON identifying areas for future improvement.” YOU GUYS SHOULD USE ON INSTEAD IN.

I only stayed for a few hours at Ibis as I needed a few hours to rest between my flights but my experience was very positive. The hotel staff made a brilliant impression on me and were very helpful and friendly. I was very happy with their service. The room itself was all that I need to have a brief rest. If I was doing a similar stay in the future (between journeys) then I would book with Ibis again. Thank you for a great, but brief stay!

I enjoyed the experience, but missed some care. The air conditioner looked maintenance-free and very old. At breakfast I missed more vegan and vegetarian foods. Overall it was good! Great service!

Room OK. World standard. Location not so good. Many people sleeping in the side walks close to the hotel. A lot of rats less than 50 meters from the hotel. Meals could get a little improvement, desert in particular. Problems with air conditioner control. It changed temperature set up by itself.

The hotel has 3 elevators. One of them was not working and the other was completely crazy (going up and down, with no stops). Just one elevator working properly for all the guests?!?! We arrived delayed for a meeting just because of that! Insane!
