Room was leaking water on the window, breakfast being served at the Novotel but no one mentioned it had to be paid daily, had to go there and come back for the wallet. Got a call in the room saying I had to change hotels because Ibis was closing. No prior notice, nothing.. why didn’t they said it before? What a terrible situation

I faced some troubles concerning the booking, which I has procceed through internet. I Has booked an optional breakfast, but as I checked-in, there was no breakfast booked in the hotel´s system. The attendants have kindly solved the issue, although in the morning, again there was no information at the breakfast desk that I has requested a included breakfast. Once again, thanks to the attendant, the issue was solved. So, my only complain is related to the internet booking.

We have a good experience. However we felt a little bit fool with the cab we took in front of thr hotel, the price it was very expensive and the driver charge us five reais more, because we have two lugagges.

The receptionist, named "Costa" took my credit card and wrote down its information. This happened during my check-in, on Feb. 18th at around 00:45 AM. I am not happy with that.

After a long trip, we got late to the hotel, and while our car was parked in the front with all our things, unattended, in the dark of downtown of Rio de Janeiro, we waited for more than 20 minutes while only one person was checking in and buying food. Then we had to go around the building via a very strange street to enter the parking, and go to the back where the trash is stored to get the elevator. When we got to the room, it was an accessible one, with a strange toilet cover (not sanitized). The shower didn't have a glass door, but a curtain with mold and yellow stains in the bottom. And everything in the bathroom was yellowish. Only after having to go back to the reception and a 10 minute wait, I got a decent room. And it was not well sanitized. In the ibis at Copacabana, the towels, and toilet paper were wrapped with plastic, differently from this stay of ours at Santos dummont ibis.
