The Shower cubicle door can't fixed well so water flow outside area where no floor drain to drain out the water. We had to dry the floor in the midnight by ourselves. Unbelievable when we came back one day after from Nice, hotel assigned the same room to us and same water flow problem we had to tackle..... We had to leave hotel very early around 6:15am and we had informed the front desk one day before to ensure that we could store our luggage as we will come back one day after. But we could not find any staff at the reception on that morning though we tried knocking every door. The staff showed up after 15 minutes... let us made100m sprint to catch the train Never expect to have such experience in ibis which is in our hotel list for many years

Lovely helpful staff in the breakfast room and a really great choice of breakfast so 'well done'. The room itself was excellent and the location is great. I'll be back. One member of the evening reception staff is neither warm, welcoming or even very polite. He's been working with you quite a while and perhaps is a little complacent. As you have asked for feedback, then I feel obliged to make this comment.

We had just one night in Marseille between Madrid and our next destination. I didn't want to spend a fortune but still wanted to be central to the key tourist areas. This hotel fit the bill. As with most Ibis hotels room was small but adequate. Check-in was easy and both counter staff and housekeeping personnel very help - my wife has mobility issued and they willingly assisted with our bags without expectation of a tip. Beds were comfortable but AC control difficult. Breakfast went beyond my expectations. Check-out smooth and quick. Taxi/Uber from/to airport a bit expensive but a fairly quick and smooth ride. Location good but need to pick routes carefully if you have mobility issues as some footpaths to port and around hotel narrow and/or blocked by cars. Hill on return from port area to hotel a little bit tiring if you have bad knees. Recommend if you are on a budget.

Our stay was very comfortable and all staff were very helpful. However, it was difficult for a person of restricted mobility like me to access the hotel from the station and it wasn't made clear to me when I booked that there are in fact 2 Ibis hotels close to the station which meant that initially I went to the other hotel where the receptionist was very rude about informing me that I was booked at the other Ibis hotel and very unhelpful about giving me information on how to get there. It should be made clear at booking that Ibis Styles, although reasonably close, is not easy to get to because of the very long steep staircase or steep slope from the station.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was comfy and appeared recently renovated. It had a vaulted ceiling which added to the character. There was work going on to refurbish the hotel and a temporary reception space had been created. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice. There were some quirks with the refurbishment but they didn't overally impact on my stay. I did experience the fire alarm going off three times which was unfortunate.

Currently under refurbishment which meant you needed to buzz in to get into the hotel. This was delayed and didn't seem to work very well but I imagine will be resolved after the refurb. The rooms are comfortable and spacious for the price. Located near the main station and a 20 minute walk to the marina.

The room was smallish but perfectly adequate for a budget hotel. The shower was excellent.The decor is funky and when the renovation is completed, should be an arty and fun experience. The breakfast room was really nice with a beautiful French breakfast with many choices. The staff were all kind and friendly making myself and little dog feel very welcome. I am looking forward to my stay there on my return trip.

Well located, but no tea or coffee in room. Seems to be luck of the draw on whether you get a kettle or not. Maybe I can just ask for one? Not clear. Breakfast ok. Nice local produce but cheese a bit dried up.
