Hi. I will make a review from the moment i arrive till check out. 1 . Arrival. It is difficult to find the entrance. We came once to Ibis Style, then GM Residence only then we found GM Hotel. The entrance should more visible and presentable. 2. Check in time quite long due to the que. Not sure what was the problem with the person check in in front of me. 3. Room. Exceed expectation. Nice, new with complete amenities. Good Job. 4. Facilities - It is unfortunate that the Swimming pool at M floor is still under construction. However, the Roof top glass pool is still great and the kids enjoy it. The only thing which is i am disappointed is un availability of the Kids Club. Actually prior to make the book, the consideration was due to the Kids Clubnas mentioned in your website. Refer ( https://all.accor.com/hotel/A103/index.en.shtml?utm_campaign=seo+maps&utm_medium=seo+maps&utm_source=google+Maps) under section Services --Leisure & Activities. However this is actually not available. Appreciate if you could really check list of services listed in your website and remove item which is in reality not available or at least update as "under construction" in order not to mislead the customer. I think it is fair suggestion and will not make people disappointed to only find out when they have already checked in. 5. Gym - Facilities is enough and fit the purpose. The only observation that i can see is the lack of COVID-19 hygiene SOP that you planned for the equipment on the gym. First of all there is no sign of instruction asking for people to clean the equipment themselves after using each of the equipment. Neither there is cleaner available to perform the cleaning part. The worker also did not remind me to clean the equipment after using it as we register or during the workout. This does not go inline with Accor ALL SAFE philosophy that you have promised. As general standard, i would say, if you have cleaner who is in charge for the gym, they should clean as soon as the item has been used by someone. Especially the dumb bells. There should be clear sign to tell not to put the dumb bell after used on the rack to ensure the cleaner know which item needs to be clean and only then it will be placed back on the rack. Incase that is not the SOP implemented, then, a clear sign and instruction including frequent monitor from the trainer to remind the user to self clean the equipment after each usage. A technician came late at night to have a look at the AC, as it didn't work. After having spent 30 min. trying to fix the AC he said it would be better in 90 minutes (!). In the end there was no improvement....Really extremely dissatisfied with my stay.

We hosted a dinner party for my daughter's first birthday at walima. It was a very special occasion for our family and choosing Grand Mercure has proved to be the best decision in this regard. They were very co-operative right from the enquiry and offered the best they could based on my requirements. A very special mention to Mr. Joe & his team for complementing their delicious buffet with outstanding service. Joe was always around getting feedback, coordinating everything and even stayed back until the dinner was over to make sure everything was on track & seamless. Thank you for your efforts in making this a memorable evening for my family & friends. We also stayed at the JUNIOR SUITE room for the night. I felt this room is a bit small to be classified as a suit (maybe that's why they call it junior suite) nevertheless this is a very good room with all amenities. Beds were very comfortable, so we got the much needed sleep after a hectic day. Breakfast was served at the walima restaurant and was again delicious. We didn't use the roof top pool as it was too hot by the time we went and the indoor pool (M-Floor) was closed. The hotel has very beautiful interiors so we spent the morning trying some photography skills. We also got to avail late check-out (2:00 PM). We appreciate staff throughout the hotel for their exceptional friendliness and eagerness to help. Overall we had a very pleasant experience .

My second stay and while it is a new hotel some staff still seem confused about processes

I messaged the Whatsapp chat group several days before my stay multiple times and still have not received a reply except the automated response. When I checked in the attendant didn't know what the meal times were and told me to call the front desk (I thought he was the front desk). I left my bags at check in and 30 minutes later I came back down to find them still there and I asked the baggage handler why they were not brought to my room and he said he didn't know what room I was staying in (first time that has happened). The staff in both restaurants were good and the staff in the gym and pool were good but the checkin staff had no idea. This is my second stay in the hotel and I had a similar experience last time but wrote it off to the hotel being new but now it just seems strange.

I have been to many hotels with my family but none can equal the experience at this hotel...firstly because of the friendly and highly experienced front office and secondly for Mr Ahmed Abbas (Manager) who was extraordinary in making my family stay even more comfortable. I love the Grand Ambience of this Hotel and definitely not to miss the roof top swimming pool with breathtaking view of the Dubai Airport (very much loved by my kids too).
