There was too much noise outside my room and it irritated me for good amount hours. Also, they didn't have Vegan burger and the options in breakfast is also very limited.

We stayed the 1st night of Iran’s attack and the security staff was completely lost. Nobody was able to lead us to a safe place when the national emergency alert popped up on our phone. When we finally got advised to go to the basement, we could not even take a pillow from the loby for our kids to lay on.. finally when we decided to leave one night earlier than expected given the risks around the airport, we could not even claim a free cancellation.. Overall disappointing care of customers in a stressful and dangerous context

I would like to give a special commendation to Mr. Ahmed Mabrook who was the supervisor on duty for the duration of my stay. When I arrived at check-in, Mr. Ahmed Mabrook took charge to make it a super smooth check-in process. I am an Accor Gold Member and was requesting early check-in and room upgrade. Mr. Ahmed Mabrook took good care of my requests by giving me highest floor from where I could see Burj Khalifa!! Even though he was unable to offer early check-in for me my wife/kids who were tired from traveling all morning because of hotel high occupancy, he was sympathetic and offered us complimentary lunch to relax in restaurant sofa for 1.5 hours and get refreshed. During the stay he offered us his services if we needed anything. For late check-out, he graciously took care of our needs and offered us late checkout and ensured that we boarded the airport shuttle smoothly. As a gold member staying at hotel first time, I was blown away by Mr. Ahmed's communication and coordination skills. As a Manager at a big airline, would be lucky to have someone as professional as Mr. Ahmed on my team. Will only choose Grand Mercure for all my Dubai Stays just because of Mr. Ahmed Mabrook!
