Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, very good breakfast, nice pool. Free shuttle to and from the airport. I didn't manage to change the temperature reference of AC - it was automatically returning to 18 C, that is too cold.

Grand Mercure is always my preferred location to stay for short visits in Dubai. Rooms are very clean and beautiful with amazing view, closer to the airport. Very speedy check in was done by Mr. Aradhya from front desk, he is so passionate towards his job role and very smiling guy to his guest. Grand Mercure airport should be proud to have a team like him. Hotel is so beautiful and food is delicious too! Thanks to Ms. Noura from front office as well during our smooth checking out. See you guys again soon

I must say honestly it was a great stay , My self and my family had a good time The concierge team helped with my luggage and Receptionist - Chaudry did a personalized check in . He was so polite and professional . Thanks for the lovely gift given to my little one he loved it . The breakfast and the display was superb and the service crew was very professional , attention to detail. the supervisor- (I forgot her name ) she is one of your great asset to your team. The room was clean and comfortable . Overall I have really enjoyed my stay with my family . The art gallery towards to the ibis styles amazing .

Hotel did not clearly advertise when booking that it had no bar and did not serve alcohol. Prior to our arrival I requested a celebration cake as our family were being reunited after three years and my son had just graduated. The cake did not arrive until 6 hours after our arrival after complaining this spoilt the effect of the welcome surprise on arrival. We stayed in a 3 bedroomed apartment which only had 3 coat hangers to hang clothes and more had to be requested. We used the spa and arranged for the treatment to be charged to our room, I was of the understanding that this bill would be paid on checkout as any previous hotel I have stayed in. The night before we were about to leave non of our room keys worked and when I went down to reception I was told that we owed a bill and that's why they were cancelled. Why couldn't someone have called the room or put a note through the door instead of cancelling all of our room keys, this is just not the type of treatment I expect when staying in these hotels. When i was checking out the next day i was asked if everything had been okay during my stay I said "not really there have been some issues" the response was "oh sorry to hear that" and that was it!! I was very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel.

tangsimec Couples - TripAdvisor review

Went to have a dinner at walima restaurant. Starting from the entrance of the hotel none of the staff bother to wish us and its seems like we were entering in a grocery shop. Entering to the restaurant we had to approach the service staff when he saw us entering the restaurant, I feel like seriously it's an Accor brand! We found a seat for ourselves, hostess didn't even approach to ask weather we are room guest or a walk in never minded about it. We enjoyed our dinner anyway and the food was delicious my fiance enjoyed crab dish and a grilled chicken which Chef Kasun made special for us he is the only person who keeps the hospitality awake. Being an Accor brand there is no hospitality and I must say kindly treat all the guest equally and train all the Heartiest to serve with heart not just for a sake.
