I really enjoyed my stay. The hospitality of the staff was excellent. I would like to mention some names like Zakaria always at my disposal on my breakfast table. when I reached to check in last night around 2100 hrs the reception staff said this booking has been cancelled because of card not being charged. my question is if the card is not working shouldn't the hotel be calling the Guest before cancelling the Booking altogether ???? what a disrespect to a long time Accor member.

This hotel offers unbeatable value for money and breakfast is included. It's perfect for a one night stay when you arrive late at Dubai DXB airport as it takes just 5 minutes to get there. The rooms are spacious and modern and I was very comfortable there. They should have more staff on reception as sometimes it gets busy and you have to wait. Also housekeeping needs to check the rooms better as my minibar's light was on all night and in the morning I discovered that the fridge was hot so had to throw away all the food I'd put in it.

Great hotel !!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite . Should book again. The breakfast was good choice of food, fresh and tasty. The seafood dinner is delicious !!! Swimming pool is amazing with the glass floor and the spa is very good place to relax. Thanks to all staff , they work very hard!

Opened in February 2020, cheap and cheerful, close to the airport

I'm a gold member of the Accor hotel loyalty programme which is the best one I've ever come across. I received an offer of a 50% discount to stay in this hotel for only €13 a night plus taxes which came to €17.68 (78 dhs). As my plane was arriving at 12.30am I decided to stay there for one night as it was just across the road from DXB airport but of course in Dubai just to cross the road you need to take a taxi. I a porter for 30 dhs who took my luggage to the taxi and I got a taxi which had 25 dhs on the meter. It took 5 minutes to get to the hotel which was in fact 2.47kms away and it cost 31 dhs. The taxi driver didn't stop the meter when I arrived so it went up to 31.50 dhs as I was getting the money out and he then asked for more money which I refused to give him as he should have switched the meter off. The drivers around the airport are the worst and beware of them adding a charitable donation to your fare without asking you. I got to the hotel at 1.30am and a doorman took my suitcase to reception after doing a temperature check with a handheld device on the back of my hand. I was surprised to find that everywhere here after always having temperature checks done with the device pointed at your forehead as if someone's going to shoot you in the head. I put my luggage on a trolley which was available at the entrance. I was lucky that there wasn't a queue so I was served quickly but when I got in the lift my key card didn't work so I had to go back to reception with my trolley to get it activated properly which was annoying as it was a struggle manoeuvring the trolley in and out of the lift with other people around. I had a nice surprise when I got to the room on the 4th floor as it was very spacious (26m2) and really nice with carpet on the bedroom side. I did wonder why I hadn't been given a room higher up. There were only 2 pillows so called housekeeping and a housekeeper promptly brought up 2 pillows. I noticed one of the bedside tables was broken. There were 34 channels on the TV, one for the hotel, 2 for the radio and out of the rest 10 had a message saying Not currently broadcasting. There were no film channels. Apart from that, if I'd known the hotel was so nice I would have stayed longer but the next morning I move next door to the new Grand Mercure which was even better as I got an upgrade to a suite. There aren't any at the Ibis Styles.
