Just came back from a lovely trip to Lille, stayed at the Aparthotel Adagio Lille Centre for 4 nights, room was spotless and tidy and had all what we needed, as per the other reviews the location is spot on, if you have driven to the hotel, there are plenty of car parks near by, and the main square is 5 minutes walk away. I have to also give a special mention to the the chap on reception who's name is Adrien. I have to say in all my years staying in loads of different hotels, he is the nicest most helpful person I have ever encountered at the front desk, so special thanks to Adrien for making our stay so enjoyable.

Was a lovely stay,but having more knowledge about parking before arriving would be helpful. Especially knowing that if you don't drive your car out of the carpark at least once every 24hrs then through bill get much bigger quite quickly.

We were visiting Le Nord for a few days and using Lille as our base to take the trains to our various day trips into Belgium and other towns and cities around Lille. The studio apartment was perfect for our needs!

Room full of mosquitos

The window in my room was left open by the cleaners and as a result, there were a lot of mosquitos in the room which bothered my sleep all night long. The room is facing a small courtyard that the mosquitos probably come from, so the window should never be left open like that. I paid 96 euros for the room and barely got any sleep, so I went and spoke to the hotel's manager about it. He was impatient and said that I'm the first guest to ever complain about mosquitos, which is interesting given the fact that the hotel sells liquid electronic diffusers for the rooms... So it's a known thing that there are mosquitos yet as a policy, they leave the windows open. It was a real nightmare.

I can see this in the detail of your comment: "- What could we improve to make your experience better? - Everything is great - except for the fact I didn’t get any sleep because of the mosquitos." So if everything is great except de mosquitos, do we deserve a 1/10 rating? Since you are still present in our establishment at this hour, I invite you to come to the reception to talk about it (again) in more detail if you wish. In addition, indeed you are the first client who complains of mosquito for a long time but that is not why we question your word. And yes, we do sell mosquito nets on a precautionary basis.
