This Novotel hotel is well located and staff are helpful. Although everything we needed was available, I did find the rooms a bit dated. The place could use some refresh.

Well located but it didn't feel like a 4 stars hotel

The staff was lovely, but the room itself was a bit disappointing in terms of cleanliness. I found loads of dust around the coffee and fridge areas, a big stain on the floor and dirtiness under my son's bed, not much attention to detail and also a very stinky smell coming from the sink.

Very poor- too warm, no gym, noisy, room in poor condition

Upon arriving at 15.10 we were told the room was not ready, even though the website states checking is available from 15.00 and were just asked to wait in the lobby and that it could take an hour. I would have expected an apology and some refreshments to compensate us. I partly chose the hotel as it had a gym. At the time of booking and at no time before arrival was I informed that the gym was out of use. I raised this with reception and again nothing was offered to compensate me. The room, 520, was too warm. I asked if the air conditioning could be put on, but the hotel refused. I tried to open the windows but it was far too noisy due to noise from the bars below. Even with the windows closed noise could be heard from the street below. The room itself was in clear need of an refurbishment. The carpet was discoloured with many stains, the walls included many chips and the bathroom grout was discoloured with mould. Overall we were very dissatisfied

Fitness Unvailable : we apologize for the incovenience caused by the unavailability for the gym, but it has been communicated on our website. We understand that this affected your stay and we will work on better informaing our guests about facility avalability in the future. Room temperature : As for the air conditionning, our hotel has seasonnal climate control, which is typically turned on during summer months. Condition of the room : we sincerly apologize for the state of room you wre assigned, inclluding the discolored carpet ; wall stains, and the bathroom grout. We are taking immediate steps to inspect the room in question. We greatly appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We understand that your experience fell short of your expectations. Nice hotel but the bed sheets???

very good service. Perfect hotel breakfast - even if it took some time the 14th to refill the empty scrambled egg and bacon. Nice room. A bit low water pressure in the shower - bur how on earth can a 4 * hotel use bed sheets with 40% polyester???
