Nice hotel well situated because it’s just beside the 2 train stations Lille Flandres and Lille Europe . Easier to go yo Belgium or the UK . Nice staff . Good breakfast We enjoyed the city center very closed from this hotel . Prices for 3 nights were acceptable We advised this hotel for businesses and leisure as well

Generally it was good. However, there were problems with the card for my room that took a little too long to correct. I was in a hurry.

I am very happy with the hotel and the staff were really nice. The only problem I had was booking. I booked using one credit card and made an online check in with a different card. On the day of arrival at 6:30pm I received an email that my booking was canceled because "cards are not in accordance" and I should rebook. But there was no available rooms. Moreover, since there was a big conference in Lille, there was practically no available accommodation in the whole Lille. I immediately called the support but there was no help. So 1 hour before my arrival in Lille I had no accommodation and it was impossible to find one. I decided to go to hotel anyway and lady at the desk was able to find me a room. Everything was solved but I had an extreme stress completely unnecessary. The hotel should contact me and check and not just send an email that they cancel. If I checked in, then obviously I will arrive and pay at arrival. Moreover, a week before arrival I have sent an email asking will there be a problem if I pay with different credit card but there was no response.

The simplicity, the comfort, and the pleasant people at reception/breakfast, are highly appreciated. The hotel is very nicely located, at the city center, close to the railway station. However, on the way from the station to the hotel, some passages have dirty floors and stink (some people urinate there). I know this is the responsibility of the city and not the hotel, but still it would be good if Ibis can push the city to do something about this.
