I would especially like to thank Alexandro. He made sure our stay was superb. He was a bit of a tour guide making sure we didn’t miss the highlights and food on Lille - thank you so much for looking after us. Saying that, everyone we dealt with in the hotel was fantastic - thank you everyone!

Staff was great. Very friendly. Room was awful. Dead bugs in the ceiling and the toilet smelled like sewage. Terrible.

Very impressive facade which doesn’t really match the interior renovations which are bit tired in places. We had a corner room which was irregular because of the original shape of the building but large enough. The bathroom was rather odd because of the large original clear glass window almost covered by a badly hung white curtain. If one forgot to adjust the curtain there was a two way view to and from the street either from the washbasin or the the wc! The bar and breakfast were good and the service attentive and pleasant. Location is the biggest advantage and attraction though.

We stay every year and used to love the place. There is a new bar on the other side of tge street and there was a lot of noise until 3am. We literally could not sleep. At the very least earplugs should be provided. We’ll go somewhere else next time.

Had to change room because of noise. Second room small with strong smell of drains, which was not rectified. Poor standard of house keeping. Poor standard of decoration. Staff were good.
