Check in was quick and friendly, valet parking is a great feature, the room was quiet (the whole of the 18th floor was fantastically quiet the whole stay), the food in the restaurant was fresh and tasty, check out was super quick and friendly. Getting my car out of valet parking could have been a bit better, but overall a fantastic stay. So much so, that I'm already back with you on October 19th.

I came from Geelong for a museum exhibition and wanted to stay somewhere nearby which wasn't too expensive. I am an ACCOR member and was able to use some of my points towards the cost of my stay. The room was perfect for me with a comfortable bed and great big screen TV.

We had a 4 night stay. The bed and pillows were comfortable, shower was good. It was a quiet room which was great. We did have a compact queen room but there was really no where to even store the suitcase- it was very compact! Perhaps the extra pillows/ironing board etc could be stored at reception to make some more space for the luggage.

Book a day use room to work remotely and room was not ready at 10 AM. Staff did not inform check out time. 1 hr later after checked in Hotel staff came to do stat check for our room which should not happen since we just checked in. Received pre arrival email saying they will prepare complimentary water for Platinum member. We got none. Our Keys stop working 3 times and cause us so much trouble to get back into the room. When we ask to extend check out time a bit more since we got into room late, we got rejected with quite rude attitude and staff ask if we want to book another night instead. At check out. The self check out won't let us do it ourselves. When we come to reception desk. All Desks were busy and somehow there is no receptionist at fast track lane for Accor member. We were in a rush try to check out on time since they cannot extend for us and not offer any option. Then made us wait anyway just to check out. The only good department we encounter with is Concierge team. Quick and responsive. No Drama

Hotel is well located. Room had a terrible smell of raw sewage. If you were out all day you came back to a terrible smell coming from the bathroom. Bathroom had no ventilation. Not good enough, guests should not have to put up with this.

The hotel is in a create location and is easy to get to places. The check in experience was ok and we were able to check in earlier which was good. The shower didn’t keep hot water so most of our showers were cold and the room was not the cleanest. We found a mouldy muffin under the bed when we dropped something and there was stickers on the frame above the bed. We didn’t mention these things as we didn’t spend much time at the hotel and we would still recommend the place to others.

Room for improvement - The tea bags and instant coffee packs should be refilled like it was the first day when the room is cleaned by housekeeping team. We stayed for 6 nights and we need to contact the housekeeping to refill the tea bags and coffee packs. They were delivered to our room promptly. The stand that holds the small towels and toilet paper has noticeable stain on it. The shower curtain has noticeable stain on it as well.
