The overall experience was good during our stay, service and cleanliness were great. Although having been to the Novotel Melbourne Central hotel on a few occasions, we were disappointed to have been given a smaller than usual room with little to no walking space, no study table, and no arm chair without any reduction to the rate (no heads up either). It would have been better to have expected it through communication and a lower than normal rate.

Good location. Average stay overall as I could not redeem my $20 voucher for putting up the 'do not disturb' sign at the restaurant. The shower was also broken. The drain was out of place when I arrived. Grout was coming off the tiles in the shower and water came up from underneath the tiles. Not a pleasant experience. Staff were lovely but service was slow.
