the overall experience was good. I arrived at the hotel at 12pm and was told that unfortunately check in is at 2pm. I was exhausted from the travel and the lady at check was kind enough to let me have an early check in but told me multiple time this is not something they do normally which i completely understand. However i feel that there's an opportunity to make your regular customer feel special here when the room is already ready. A better would have been to check how many time i came to the hotel (i was here couple of weeks ago and stayed for 4 nights) and tell the customer that "we don't normally do early checkin but i can see that you're a regular customer and we'll make an exception for you as a thank you for your loyalty". When i book my trip to melbourne via work and i have a choice to stay at other hotel. Novotel should work on their customer experience and make them feel special that they want to come back to the hotel again.

The accommodation was good; cleaning lady was lovely. Air Con in restaurant too cold and couldn’t be altered, everyone had jackets on.
