On arrival for our Melb escape I found I had misplaced my drivers license and was told I could not check in without photo I’d, I showed all of my other I’d such as Medicare card, credit cards, health card ect but that was not sufficient, my friend who was travelling with me and was included on booking was told her photo I’d was invalid as she did not prepay the accommodation, after some minutes of discussion another receptionist was asked and luckily she said all would be ok and finally we were given our entry cards. I had little more contact with reception after that but on arrival found we were charged for alcohol we did not consume, thankfully this was easily resolved, however when digging further into when I was charged it was done only a couple of hrs after we arrived at the hotel around 3-4 pm, it would appear that when checking/ cleaning our room someone did not record the mini bar correctly. I have stayed at the Pullman on numerous occasions in Brisbane and Sydney and have had no problems however it would not be my first choice in Melbourne.

We stayed at the Pullman for the Christmas festive activities. I can not rave on how amazing this place was . There was a small hickup with a minor miscommunication and the duty manager Anish fixed the problem and made us feel so welcome . The rooms are so sleek and clean and overall the customer service is A+ we will be staying here again

I got accessible room and that gave me a very depressing feeling. The staff at the reception was not willing to understand. Then I reached out to the manager and he put me in another room but I was charged for that even though I am a gold member. I am never going to stay in this Pullman. The breakfast was also very mid range.

Please note that on our website we clearly advise that for this particular room type (Accessible room), we are unable to offer upgrades or room moves, as we only have three of these rooms in the hotel. When guests specifically book this room type, we may need to decline other guests requesting it. Our records show that our staff offered you the option to upgrade to one of our Superior Rooms with two queen beds at $30.00 per day, which you accepted and were aware of the charge.
