Good Stay Nice Hotel Communication Lacking

Stayed on a Friday in the email it didn't say you have to park before you checked in so arrived at hotel and realised there was nowhere to stop and unload bags so was off to find the carpark. Arrived I asked to pay via eptos to avoid the car charge for using a credit card was told there were no such facilities you can't pay using debit. So was charged a credit card fee. Went to level 14 for welcome drink and dinner was told that it was closed and we had to eat on 15th floor at lounge. Checked out on Saturday and was charged $6 on credit card that night no explanation as to why I know it's only $6 but what could I possibly owe $6 for?

Great hotel shame about the service

We have stayed here on several occasions and in the past had a great stay. However this time things weren’t nearly as good. Started off with online check, which we completed with the intention of saving time. When we arrived instead of being able to use the new automated check in we were told we had to stand inline and wait because we had checked in on line which took well over half an hour. With only 1 staff member and no priority queue for Accor members, which most Accor hotels have. Once we were being checked in I asked if I had been upgraded as per Accor membership and was told the hotel was 100% occupancy so no upgrade. Got to the room and just checked the hotel website to make sure it was definitely fully booked and not only was it not fully booked but discounts were being offered on rooms superior to ours. I rang the desk and they got someone to ring me back and he said they will only give an upgrade if they have several of the rooms available. Well why were they discounting them at 5 pm that night. To top things off I went to the toilet to discover the toilet seat was broken. I rang reception and they moved us to another room, still no upgrade, but effectively a downgrade as on a much lower floor. Very disappointed!!!
