Room was good, disappointed in restaurant bar area.
Was very disappointed that the only option for a meal was the Blossom bar. The area looks old and not inviting inside or out and does not rate a 5 star rating, and the music was way too loud for anybody to have a normal conversation or enjoy dinner.
Eva's Bar and Restaurant was only open for the breakfast.
We had room service for our first meal which was fish and chips and pasta. Both meals were not acceptable, the fish was cooked that much the fish had shrunk, it looks like it had been reheated a few times, the pasta was dry with very little sauce or cheese. Would not rate the food at all.
I also thought there should be security out the front door in the lane way after hours.

Room service was utterly terrible. Cold, uncovered food. Cutlery and napkin provided for one meal only, when we ordered two meals. No glass provided for the drink. Couldn't believe it was delivered like that.
No drinking water was provided in the room, which is underwhelming for a 5 star hotel and not adequate.
The breakfast was described as a buffet breakfast, however it was a combination of buffet and menu options, which is not what we wanted, so was misleading.
The location, however, is excellent, so it's a shame the actual hotel is not up to standard compared to other Pullman hotels we've stayed at.

We had a wonderful family stay at Pullman Melbourne City Centre. The location is right in the heart of Melbourne, making it so convenient to explore the city. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the Club Lounge, with delicious food and wonderful staff who were so kind to our toddler. They even brought him some fresh fruit, which was such a thoughtful touch. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily stay again!

We loced staying at the Pullman City Centre. The location was amazing, so close to trams, restaurants, shops and the Yarra. The hotel itself was well appointed, the rooms were large and new and the gym was so good. Food we ate in the restaurant for b'fast and drinks in the rooftop bar were great too. No complaints at all

I am still very disappointed that the bathroom does not have rails to hang bath towel on to dry and the knobs on the wall are so far from the shower or hand basin that water drips on floor that a person could slip.WORST IS STILL NO HAND RAIL IN SHOWER CABINET WHEN THERE ARE SLIPPERY SHOWER FLOOR TILES I WOULD CALL IT AN SERIOUS PROBLEM WHEN GUESTS COULD HAVE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT this Hotel obviously does not care if this happens. I am sure I mentioned the problem another year but still NOTHING DONE

Overall we had a great stay at the Pullman Melbourne Centre, we always enjoy the rooftop bar and are big fans of the relaxed casual vibe that is the lounge. However, a cold shower at 6 am was not something that I was appreciative of, with the blow off from reception (are you sure you ran it for long enough???) adding further insult to the injury.

Loved the hotel - great breakfast - we were on the 13th floor - comfortable room with couch and pleasant view over the buildings and street. Infra red sauna was great.
The only reason I did not give a 10 was the rooftop bar - i found this lacking in atmosphere and needing a bit of a polish - cobwebs on walls outside and leaf litter on the floor. Nothing to bad but not perfect.

We booked a package through Luxury Escapes that included breakfast, parking and drinks vouchers. Arrival by car was very difficult (through a back service lane). The carpark was a fairly close on the map but took ages to get to with one-way streets. Thank goodness we left the luggage first. The first room we got smelt terrible so we were moved to another room which was much better. The central location meant the room was very noisy on Saturday evening/Sunday morning so it was hard to sleep. We could not use our drinks vouchers because Blossoms was too busy on Saturday night and closed on Sunday night, so I don't think it should have been offered or something else should have been offered as a substitute. The one positive thing was Breakfast at Eva's which was nice with selections from the a la carte menu.
