I arrived within the time that I said I was going to check in and was met by staff like I had inconvenienced them. Conversation was short, blunt, not very helpful. When I got into the room it was nice, but untidy, hair in bathroom and the toilet seat looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months (if you check the back of the hinge you will see what I am referring to). Next morning at the restaurant for breakfast, which I paid for it to be included, it took 15mins to be greeted at the counter, I was put into a corner and forgotten about. I had to walk up to a staff member 25mins after sitting down and asked if I could order and was met with “oh yeah I forgot”. I went back to my seat and the food was ok. Went out for the entire day and arrived back at 2pm and the room hadn’t been serviced. 4:46pm I got a knock on the door from a worker, who was on her phone holding a cleaning caddy and asked if I “needed the room cleaned”. I replied with it’s 4:46pm and she stared at me and said “yeah and”. 2 days later arrived back after a work day and the room once again wasn’t serviced. Asked reception and was met with inconvenience again. The stay was 4 nights and the service was poor throughout. For the Pullman to be classified as 5 star, this was rather disappointing. I’ve had better service at Ibis and Mecure.
